I saved my cat from the wilds of the outside about 2 weeks ago, she's only about 5-6 months old. She's very plump all of a sudden. She has no sign of nipples yet. Do you think she's pregnant?

Well I'm not 100% on the age, I just based it off of her size.

Shadow, bless you for giving this kitty a great home. It's possible she's pregnant, but as the previous answer stated, it could be worms. That can distend their little bellies.
Time for a trip to the vet! In addition to worming, your new baby needs vaccines to keep her healthy, and she's old enough to spay at this point.
Shadow if she IS pregnant, please go ahead and have her spayed regardless. Pregnancy is very hard on a kitty this young, and her kittens are likely to die anyways.
Best of luck to you both!

Well, she is due for a check up and vaccines. That means the vet and they could probably give you a clue. SHe probably needs a good worming also....which can also make her look plump!

Cats can get pregnant when the start coming into heat. They can come into heat at 4-5 months. I have seen several very young moms at the shelter I work at. A few have needed a c-section for the birth.
They DO NOT have to be a year or more!!!!!!

Dont panic, thats the enamy. Simply take it to the vet find out. If it is pregnet than just try to give them away for free or keep them. If
it isnt you dont have to wory.

Possibly. I would take her to a vet to see. Good job in rescuing her. Spay her in the future and she will live a long, healthy life.

She is little, may be not, if she is you will can see that she doesn´t feel well, watch her stomach, normally changes in one month, one month and half you can feel the small kitties moving in her stomach. But don´t worry if the babies born, you can send me one.

I do not believe cats can become pregnant that young. I believe they have to be a least a year and a half or so. It could be the intake of food that you have given her as aposed to her having to hunt for what she can get.
