I have a tank with 2 mollies a male betta and 2 white clouds . Yesterday to my surprise, my white clouds had babies!! There were a bunch of little fishes swiming around. But sadly, most of them got eaten by the mollies. There are a few left, but i don't know if they will survive. WHat should I do next time this happens?! And how can I tell if the White Cloud is going to have babies again!! I want to know so i can separate them before they have eggs and whatever. Do I feed teh fish tewh same food, and is it okayu to leave the parents in the same tank as the little ones. PLEASE HELP!

I rescued a cute little stray, the vet didn't realize she was pregnant (maybe to early to say) and gave her vaccinations. I hope the kittens will be fine, since I heard they can be born premature or with brain damage. She is already 45 days pregnant and she looks really good and big. Please let me know if you had a similar experience or some advice.

I know its a dumb question, but here is the story. To begin with, my dog is in heat (started last Monday) and we have been taking well care of her so that no dog comes near her. I want to get her spayed but don't have the money for it (need to find a place where it can be done free of charge). Well, anyways, we rent a room to a cousin of ours and this past weekend, we have had special events to attend to. Because of the hot weather, we left our dog inside the house without her "panties/pad". However, this stupid cousin of ours decided to let her out and left her there in the backyard while he took a shower. While he was taking a shower, a male dog sneaked inside the backyard and did who knows what. By the time the dumb person came out, he couldn't tell if they were "together" or not. So now, I am left wondering if my doggie is pregnant! Is there a way I can tell if she is pregnant? And can I have her spayed ASAP even if she is pregnant?? Please help!

I have a chihuahua 9yrs old, 7lbs and a mutt 2yrs old, 16lbs. My older dog wont let the younger dog eat. They have both been with me and together for over a year, but this has only started within the last few weeks. The mutt will just back down and not eat at all when the older dog starts to claim both food bowls. So my younger dog is losing weight and fur. The older dog is gaining weight and getting constipated from eating so much. I need to suggestions on how to get them both to eat without all the problems.

I have two leopard geckos that I purchased at the same time as a friend of mine they were all about the same size. They are about 2 1/2 months old now and her gecko is twise the size of both of mine. My leopard geckos eat about 7-10 medium sized crickets daily and they are covered in calcium every day and other vitamins 2 a day. They shed regularly and they're tails are getting larger Im not conderned with their health they look healthy. But I dont have them in a 10 gallon tank right now. I was wondering if the size of the terrarium could stop the growth of the leopard geckos. Please give me some advise, I love my two leps and I want them to get big and beautiful.

I just got a baby ball python this past Saturday (it's Tuesday now). I bought him at an exotic pet/reptile show and the guy working there said I should feed him a pinky every 7-10 days... He's 2 months old and pretty skinny :( Should I feed him 2 pinkies a week or 1 every 4 days or something different? Thanks!

He does alot of sleeping and not a whole lot of moving. Hes about 3 years old. I've had him since he was a year old. He wasn't all that active then either. Do beardies usually spend their time lounging around as they get older or are they supposed to be active like they are when tiny babies? He has a heat lamp/uv lamp and a heat pad, so he is plenty warm.

I've been reading about raccoons and rabies and something I read led me to believe it may not be full proof. My friend has been feeding a small raccoon, and by his description the raccoon is almost unable to walk and has siezures, this sounds like rabies to me. He also feeds the neighborhood cat, his next door neighbor takes this cat to the vet for health problems, in for his shots, and gives it a flea treatment, but no one owns him. I understand that rabies is transferred via saliva and you should wash your hands after handling an animal you suspect of contacting rabies. I'm sure when the raccoon is done eating out of the bowl that the neighborhood cat looks for food there himself, as this is the normal place for him to be fed. I am trying to tell my friend he is making a big mistake allowing this sick wild animal to be around, the neighborhood cat could get attacked defending his turf. My friend has a soft heart for all animals. Is a rabies vaccine full proof in a cat? Cat at risk?

I took my dog to the vet with a sore paw and after a three minute consultation was charged £36 for an anti-inflam jab and one week's supply of antibiotics. As I sat in the waiting room I noticed several people paying even more for their own pets and most were in the consultation for just a few minutes. Am I being cynical or are vets overcharging for medications and consultations?

Do you love them or hate them and why?

I personally think they are great!! My mom has three and they are the friendliest dogs ever, they are so calm, and lovable.

Why do people hate on them so much, it's not the "breed" it's the "deed"!!!

I adopted a 12 week old kitten 2 weeks ago and noticed his rear paws have an issue. One pad on each paw is all raw and had been bleeding. Now, kitty-litter is stuck to those pads on each paw and when I attempt to remove the litter, the pad starts bleeding again. The kitten doesn't seem to notice it at all, but I am concerned that this is going to turn to a bigger issue if I leave alone. And I am not sure if I should put anti-biotic oitnment on them. Or should I change to the fine-sand clumping litter? I am using the regular clay litter.

We live in a nasty area, guns and drugs and violent crime so I don't know many of my neighbours and I just want to keep to myself. But there is this young cat who just appeared recently. I try to throw food to her but she's scared (which is good, I don't want to encourage her to trust people in this neighbourhood) but also it means I can't get near her. How can I know if she's stray and needs to be taken in and cared for or if I should leave her alone?
