Does anybody have any good websites that describe well how to take care of them, what they eat, heating requirments, temperment etc.... or do you have knowlodge about them? Were can you generally buy these lizards and how much do they cost?

They're very sweet-tempered and love to interact with their people. They do need to have very warm temperatures (on the order of a 120o basking spot) and they're primarily vegetarian (they'll go after crickets, but plants, particularly leafy greens, should make up most of their diet). I've seen them in local pet stores, including the "chains" for around $80-90 up, but you might get a better deal (and better quality animal) at a reptile/herp show if there are any around you. I have one, very nice! Copperhead above said it best. Large tank, high heat, UVB, salads for diet.
