I have two leopard geckos that I purchased at the same time as a friend of mine they were all about the same size. They are about 2 1/2 months old now and her gecko is twise the size of both of mine. My leopard geckos eat about 7-10 medium sized crickets daily and they are covered in calcium every day and other vitamins 2 a day. They shed regularly and they're tails are getting larger Im not conderned with their health they look healthy. But I dont have them in a 10 gallon tank right now. I was wondering if the size of the terrarium could stop the growth of the leopard geckos. Please give me some advise, I love my two leps and I want them to get big and beautiful.

Some reptiles' growth are dependent on their surroundings: more room, lots of food, fast growth; little room but good feeding not so fast. You might try putting them in the larger tank and see what happens.

Reptiles don't grow to the size of their cage, but a cage that is too small will cause a lot of stress and illness, which can lead to poor growth. If you have two, you will have trouble in even a 10 gallon--especially if they turn out to be males. A 20L would be much better, with enough hides for both of them. Your set up, such as belly heat (UTH mat) set at the correct temperature is very important to digesting their food. And hopefully you don't have any kind of loose substrate on the bottom of the tank-especially NOT Calci-sand--which can kill leos. They need several hides, including a moist warm hide to assist with shedding. Please check out the care sheets at the sites below for more ideas. And don't forget to have a reptile vet check them for parasites--another common reason for poor growth and health.
