I have a five year old female (spayed) cat. 2 weeks ago got a 6-8 wk old male kitten. I went thru the slow 'intro' etc and they are not really friends right now but 'civil to some extent. Big will go to small... and small wiill run, small will go to big and big will run. Some times they will paw each other and other times big will smack little one a bit too hard with her paw. My biggest concern is food. I've kept their food apart but they still go to each other's bowls to eat!! No matter how many times i take them back to their own food bowls, they still eat each other's food. Since kitten food is too rich for big one and cat food is not nutritious enough for small one,, i am worried that big will get fatter and small will get thinner! Has anyone else had this problem? Appreciate your help, thanks.

Hello can some one help buy answering me this question, my girly dog had an unexpected litter of puppys on sunday, which WAS not supposed to happen, I really want her spayed now so that a accident wont happen again, how long must we wait for her to recover from having puppys before she can be spayed thankyou.

We're about to move into a large 2 bedroom flat. But I've always wanted a cat. Is it possible to have a cat when you live in a flat or should I leave it until I can eventually afford a house?

i think its cause i was feeding live brime for about 1 week and they get on the filter and die and rot which could cause the water to completerly stuuf up, ph went from 8.4 to 7.7 (LUCKILY I GOT THE SEAHORSES OUT AND THE PET SHP OS MINDING THEM FOR ME

My kittens (5mths) have never been outside. Is it possible that they can have ringworm? I woke up with 4 small circles on my htigh and it may be ring worm. I hav been fully clothed so Imassuming if it is that-they may have given it to me??Possible??

Right, cleo my lovable little shite, Is a pain, ive tried everything, scratching posts other cats, cat nip, citrus spray naughty spray locking her out everything!! but she howls if i lock her out, plays up allllll night, and is just mad is there anything anything at all i can give her. do not suggest another cat, it will not work and i do not have the space!! Last year on April 6 my cat had kittens. When they were 5 weeks old I shut one of them in the door his name was Mouth. It paralized him from waist down and all the vets said he'd never make it but I refused to let them put him to sleep. I nursed him back to health and it was so cute because he wore a newborn diaper and could only use his front paws. Mouth was my baby other than my 3 kids. He was part of the family. Mouth died on July 22 2006 he was 15 weeks old. I took this very hard and my husband says that he was just a cat and I should forget it. What do you think? Please don't be mean.

Its 2 am and we all need sleep. In the morning im takin hom to the vet but whats wrong with him and how can I help?! he's thrown up 2 times already. When Out side he eats grass like theres no tomorow mouthfuls at a time. Seems to act like his normal self. i gave him some pepto and he ate them up. Waitin for them to settle before I do anythin. Nearly everyday there is a post on here about how awful pitbulls are. Yet I cannot recall a single question on here about a pitbull attack or bite, BUT just off the top of my head I can think of questions in the last few days about dog bites involving the following:
greyhound
dalmation
Jack Russel
German Shepherd
Chow
Chihuahiua
Miniature Pinscher
just to name a few.

My dog is a Pit/Lab Mix. I take her out very often because she is only 7months old and I walk her and play with her and feed her on a daily basisi twice if not three times a day. My problem is that when she is in the room with me she wont just sit down unless im totally firm with her and literally forcing her to stay put. she will listen at first. but then she will get up and just start smelling the around everywhere smelling everything. Is this a problem or is she just getting familiar with her surroundings. I have had her for 5months now and have her in the room everyday unless we leave the house or at night when we are going to sleep. I want to keep her in the room at night and not put her in the cage but she moves around so much im always popping up to see where she's at and what shes doing. she has me scared that shes going to be eating something she has no business or just tearing up something. Can someone tell me whats going on and how can I solve it, thank you in advance

My moms friend gave us a puppy and he is inbread he is only 2 but he has this problem where his liver dosent absorb the nutriunts that he needs which causes his to have sezious and they cant give him the sezier meds cause it is hard on your liver he is loseing all his hair from not geting the nutrients and in the past month he attacks my brother all the time leaveing marks and drawing blood but its when hes like in a seziouer state he goes crazy we have a fenced in yard and have another dog which never gets out but the 2 year old hoover always finds some where to get out after we have fixed everything so its near impossible for him to get out we are affraid if he gets out he might bite sum one he dosent bite me or any 1 else in my family but my brother we know put him out on a chain seems to work haent gottten out yet i dunno is it time to put him down otherwise he is happy and living a good life w/o pain and suffering at this point what to do?

I have had him or her for 10 years in the same small fish bowl that i bought it in. I have read anwers about bladder diease, should i put him in a small bowl and leave him for how long? and should i still feed him. will miss him if he goes as he has been with me forever. how long do they live. he is just an orange will used to be orange gold fish. hope someone can help. appreciate any advice. this isnt the first case of this it has had, he got it about 2 years ago but got over it, im not too sure this time, i have put some tonic salt into his bowl?
