Don't let him eat any more grass. It can actually cause tiny lacerations in the stomach and intestines and cause even more vomiting, only bloody! Keep giving him the Pepto and give him ice to lick until you get him to the vet.it's probably nothing serious, maybe the heat.

Probably he caught cold and he eats grass to hold his stomach not to throw up. You already wrote that you would take him to the vet first thing in the morning.
Maybe you can pay attention on the vomit: it's color, if there is any specific smell, all the food he eats ingested or not. Such information can help to your vet. Or take a sample of vomit if you can and bring it to your vet too.
And keep fresh water infront of him. Get some rest. You need to be refreshed in the morning when you talk to your vet and help him to find out the reason of his illness.

I also have a Lab. She has a very sensitive stomach and throws up or gets the runs anytime she eats anything other than her dog food. It's good to take him to the vet as it could be very serious like eating something poisonous but yet it may just be that the last table scrap you gave him didn't agree. Just make sure he has lots of water until seeing the vet. Dogs can dehydrate just like humans. If he wont drink just dip your finger in the water and rub on his lips until he licks it off. Good luck!

You're doing all the right things, just make sure he is drinking water. Glad you're taking him to see the vet in the morning. just keep him with you and try to get some sleep. All the best;~)

with the fact that he is eating mouth fulls of grass tells me that he is lacking in specific nutrients in his kibble. But seeing a vet is a good precaution as it could be other more serious things.

It's probably the flu or something. You'll know for sure when he goes to the vet. I'm sure it's nothing too serious.
