My cat is about a year old. My husband refused to get him neutered and now he pees and sprays anywhere and everywhere in my house. I've tried spraying him with a water bottle and putting him in the litter pan. I can't get the smell out and he's destroying my home. I love the cat and my husband would never hear of finding him a new home (sorry to say but he's becoming a bit much for me to handle) is there anything i can do?? I recently moved his littler pan into another room that was quieter because i was told he minght not like where it was (in the wash-room) but just today i found our dvd case (with more than 200 dvds) soaked in pee again!!! please help!!

I have a tropical tank with:
2x Mollys
2x Platys
2x silverfin tetras
2x phantom tetras
1 x gibbicep plec
1 x fantail goldfish (I know he shouldnt be in there, its not a heated tank, just the temperature the water naturally is is about 24 degrees)

I would really like a betta, the petshop told me its best not to as it would attack and kill anything with a big tail - my goldfish and plec. I was wondering if it was just the males that would do this or if it was both sexes, the pet shop didnt know.

Thanks.

I have a 6 year old golden retriever and on his right ear I felt this squishy lump about half an inch long. It doesn’t appear to be causing him pain or trouble. And it doesn’t bother him when I touch it. It almost feels like pus inside of it but his ear looks normal it just has this odd long lump. What is it? Thanks for any help.

I dont think I actually ask my question the right way. I am not worried about my pet raccoon he is very much a pet and doesnt bite. I was just saying Ive had them since I was a little a girl and have been bitten numerous times. I have been reading on the internet about rabies and it classifies a skunk raccoon fox and bat as carriers of rabies. But every website I go to says something different about a carrier. Like for instance my raccoon has been in the house all his life he has never had any contact with a wild animal so that means he has no way to contact it from another animal. So Im asking if an animal can just be a carrier and transmit it to you without actually having the disease its self. If they can possibly carry the disease and transmit it without being infected or sick with it.

I have nothing but guppies and cory cats. I have a 29 gallon , and two 55 gallons, one of which isn't set up yet. All except for the one 55 gallon I haven't set up are cycled. I'm trying to keep my males seperated from the females because 7 of my females are pregnant and are having babies like crazy. I have my existing fish spread out like so:
29: 6 males 2 cory cats
55 gallon: 13 females plus about 20+ of their newborns
I also have a cycled 10 gallon with 13 more babies in it..
I'm aware that guppies can drop about 3-5 times after breeding once. Which is why I'm asking. Not many of my females are cannibals..I can't seem to find a good store that will take the fry. How many can I have in my tanks if I set up the other 55 before they become majorly overcrowded? I want to avoid culling if I can..

I have two kittens, brothers 15 weeks old (going to be neutered next week) They love to bask in the sun by the window and watch the World pass by. But as I watch them, I can't help but wonder if I am depriving them of a happier life if I let them out instead of keeping them indoors all the time. I have been told it is cruel of me not to let them out. What do you think ?

Okay, i bought 4 mollies from the pet store a few moths ago, 1 male and 3 female.

shortly after bringing the fish home, about 3 days later they had fry. I seperated the fry into a breeder net which i then hung on the side of the tank. I fed them fry food whilst they were alive. The problem was, they kept dying. Then, after the fry died, the parents began to die aswell.

I had around 40 fry and none of them survived :(

What can i do to ensure that SOME of them live old enough to reproduce again?

A Little Dog Angel
High up in the courts of heaven today
a little dog angel waits;
with the other angels he will not play,
but he sits alone at the gates.
"For I know my master will come" says he,
"and when he comes he will call for me."
The other angels pass him by
As they hurry toward the throne,
And he watches them with a wistful eye
as he sits at the gates alone.
"But I know if I just wait patiently
that someday my master will call for me."
And his master, down on earth below,
as he sits in his easy chair,
forgets sometimes, and whispers low
to the dog who is not there.
And the little dog angel cocks his ears
and dreams that his master's voice he hears.
And when at last his master waits
outside in the dark and cold,
for the hand of death to open the door,
that leads to those courts of gold,
he will hear a sound through the gathering dark,
a little dog angel's bark.

I bought a betta last night from wal mart that had been beaten up by Oscars (long story). Anyway, I'm trying to rescue him. He has no fins. I have him in a 1 gallon bowl with aquarium salt added. My question is this. He's on his side alot. I know it has to do with the fact that he doesn't really have any fins but I think there is something else going on. He has a somewhat bloated belly and I have noticed that when he goes to the bottom of the bowl, he can't stay there. He floats right back up to the top. What would cause this and how would I fix it? Don't lecture me about keeping a betta in a bowl. I just want to get him well first before I invest in a bigger set up. If he lives, he'll get a nice tank with filtration and a heater. I promise.

layed about 150 eggs.
this morning when i woke up both of them ate the eggs, i witnessed it. it wasnt any of the other fishes i have, which is only 2, and they are both window cleaners. I called a fish store and the fish store said not to worry about them because theyre harmless to the eggs. theyres only about 30 eggs left, but i want to be prepared for next time, when she lays the eggs. whats the process i can use to not let him or her eat the eggs, but let him fertilize the eggs ????

Rescued a 9 y/o jack russell x from the RSPCA. I dont know the history apart from he's been in the home 3 months and dropped off by an old lady who is going into a home (true or not). The dog is fine in the house and around kids. The problem arises when he meets another dog on a walk, he will sniff then 2 secs later snap/ bite at it in aggression. Heeeeelp.

I have a Belgium Malinois who is an escape artist. I have had her for 6 years. She just now started to get out. So i put concrete blocks around the holes. Well she just moved them out of the way. Then i dug a whole and put chicken wire down. Well she chewed threw that and got out. Then i did what i never wanted to do. I chained her up. And still she is getting out of that. She keeps on going to another yard where their are like 3 other dogs. I have to check on her every 10 min just to make sure she is still their.

They have a barn stable, so I know its not the heat and they have all the water and food they could ever want! I even mix laying mash (a special helper to get them to lay eggs) in with every batch of corn and nothing for about two weeks. I have looked everywhere for eggs, becuase they have buried them before. The entire stable is chicken wired, so its not another animal eating them and I am very VERY stumped. They've always layed eggs, even in this kind of heat before...pleaqse respond if you have ANY CLUE

I have no idea why my tank decided to go hayward on me, but my ammonia has spiked to a dangerous level. It's not a new tank, and I don't have very many fish. I've changed the chemical filtration (it's ammo-carb) and done several water changes. I've also started to use AmmoLock and stopped feeding in the hopes it'll go down but to no avail.

Any suggestions on what I can do?
