The older dog is fine. He sniffs the cat and kitten then walks away and they don't hiss at him. The younger dog LOVES anything furry. He gets CRAZY HYPER when he sees them and whines, chases and barks at the newbies. Needless to say neither the cat or kitten are crazy about him. I KNOW he doesn't mean them harm ( I have seen him lick a pet mouse before without harming it) but how am I going to integrate them if I can't calm him down? Ideas would be most welcome!

so, my tank has ich. I raised my temp to about 86 degrees, I've added some aquarium salt. Anything else I can do? If so, could would kinda break it down for me like a to-do list so that I know what to do and when to do it and how much of it to do? Thanks. Oh and how long before I should see some results?

It's still alive as I managed to get it away from my cat but it doesn't seem to be able to fly and looks as though it's wing is broken. There doesn't appear to be any open wounds. I've put it in a box and shut him in a quiet room but I don't know what to do next. Can I contact someone? Is there anything else I can do?

My son bought a tree frog about a month ago. All it eats is crickets. I have been buying 2 dzn at a time. It costs less than $2.00. Inside of a weeks time, they are all dead?? I keep a moistened sponge, and a peeled potato, that is what the guy in Petsmart said to do....they are still dying?? I keep them in the container that my son brought the frog home in....it is a plastic container with holes on the lid! I wash the container in hot water to keep it clean in between buying the new crickets! What else can I do? I am tired of constantly going to the pet store!

My betta started to lie on the bottom of his tank last night about 10 pm. So, I checked the nitrite level and it was .25. So, I changed his water, added aquarium salt and API's Stress Zyme. Still no change. I noticed that he has a weird behavior. He will lie there for awhile, then swim around the tank fast for like 2 times, then get some air and rest again on the bottom. I have had him for about 2 1/2 months. He is in a 3 gallon, bio-wheel, carbon filtered tank. I clean the tank about 25% every week. Last night I cleaned it about 50%. He was eating regularly, but I didn't feed him yesterday. If I come over to his tank to look in, then he will get up and come over. Last night while cleaning the tank he was his usual self--swimming around investigating everything while I cleaned it.

Could it be chemicals from the rocks I have in the tank? I got them from PetCo? They have an iridescence on them. I use spring water in my tank and water conditioner, and aquarium salt. 83 degrees aver.

For the first two weeks I had him, he would sleep in my bed nicely. Then he started biting me at night and, as much as I ignored him, he would just start biting harder. So I started keeping him in the bathroom, as I live in a studio apartment and it's the only other room.
Now, he will meow *all night long*. I don't want to let him out in the morning when he's meowing, I would rather wait until he stops to reward him, but I have a job and I cannot wait hours to go to work! I wear earplugs and still the sound cuts through, it's hard to sleep.
When I let him out, I ignore him until he stops meowing. But he will never stop meowing and then he starts biting me to get my attention. He'll keep biting harder and harder, I've been bitten 4 times this morning already. I just move away when he does it, or pull his chair so he has to go back on the floor and can't bite me.
My cat is neutered and has been checked out by a vet, he's healthy. I have another cat who does not behave this way.

I recently found a kitten.he had been abandoned and im just looking after him until i can find him a new home. But why does he lick and nibble my fingers and hands? He drinks milk from a dish but i don't think he has been weened onto solid food because he wont eat it. I think he is around 5 weeks old. Please help because i dont want him to go without something.

I have a mother rat jack russell terrier mix still nursing mom dog that was diagnosed with hookworms, ringworms & tapeworms last night at the animal hospital. She still is not eating and has had diareah and just threw up white foam like spit. She was given sub-q's last night and I was sent home with liquid panacure dewormer that she is to take for 7 days. I gave her her first dose last night. Is this normal for having all these worms? Is this just one of these things that has to run its course? She still seems very lathargic. Please help?
