When I went to the store yesterday ,I gave my dog a new treat, a Zwenkie, but she also found a sparkler my daughter didn't know she had lost,so I don't know which one is making her sick, I gave her some milk but what else can I do. She used the bathroom yesterday evening and this morning her stomach was upset both times, and this morning she has vomited twice, She is sleeping now. But what should I do?

Could anyone out there who are vets or dog owners, tell me why my little Jack Russel dog, likes to eat blades of grass, when he is out walking; he gets lots of exercise, eats well, sleeps well, and is full of energy, no problems with going to the toilet, but seems to my mind to do more than his share of scratching, but has no fleas! he is wormed regularly. would be grateful for any advice, Thanks.

Most hilarious thing ever. Especially when you get them to walk/run. You'll see.

My 10.5 month old labs hips sound like they're clicking when he walks. There are no other obvious signs of what I think may be hip dysplasia and vet says he couldnt find anything wrong with him whe he stretched his back legs, but the clicking is constant each time he walks. Occasionally his 2 back legs move at the same time when running but this seems normal when looking at other retrievers, and he moves in a snake like manner. He's occasionally slower in running than other dogs but mainly smaller ones. Vet hasnt done an xray and charged me £70 to tell me nothing really wrong, bit lame in bottom of leg and to give him rest and painkillers for a week so am reluctant to take him back if its nothing. Any tips?

They all look so sad I did my training and went in yestreday to finish my shadow training and then I walked a cute dog. Luckly my current dog won't allow me to bring a dog home but there it is sad to see them, especially the cruelty cases

Is this a premium dog food? Read the ingredients and it seems to not have corn and other allergens. First ingredient listed is lamb. Anyone with positive or negative experiences with this brand? Thank you.

I took my dog camping with me saturday night and he had a blast but since ive been home sunday AM he's been sleeping all day, all night and now it's monday AM and he's decided to go back to bed. I have a boxer so this is very odd cause boxers are usually energetic.
He hasnt ate any food or drank any since since ive been home.
Last night he was ancy up and down off the bed.
Does anyone know of any signs that maybe he is sick. He was fine the whole time camping just once we got home he was lifeless.
His nub ( doced tail) is downwards not up, and his nose does seem to be dry but i dont know if that means anything.

Hi there, I have a female spayed cat who is now 1 year old. She has always been an odd cat because she can be alternately aggressive and loving - she will come to me for a love in the morning, but throughout the rest of the day she can be prone to tantrums and violence, hissing at my friends and family or even scratching me and my partner. I recently got a 6 week old kitten ( a boy) and I am having problems introducing them. He has been ill which has made it hard as well. On the first day she hissed and spat but didn't do much else, and he hissed back. Over the next 2 days they sniffed each other and she even licked him and ate near him. Now, day 4, she attacks him on sight and has even flipped him onto his back. I can't tell whether or not she is playing - he isn't meowing in complaint, but he has been poorly and he might just be too scared. She isn't hissing either but her behaviour doens't look safe, so I always split them up. What do I do to make this work? Help!

Okay. It's 3:30 in the morning, and I hear this weird noise. I wake up my mom, and it's coming from my 20 pound daushaund terrier.

It sounds like he's farting. But it's inside his stomach. He's alert, but can't seem to get comfortable anywhere. He's also whining and looking at his stomach with a confused look.

He acts like he wants to throw up, but he can't seem to get it out. His stomach is not bloated, but I can feel where it's doing this.

SOMEONE HELP ME!!

It's ok to breed red and black Dobermans together right? Will it pose any coloring issues? (I'm not looking to breed them... I'm just wondering.. heck, I wouldn't since I don't even know this probably simple question) ;)

I'm not sure if she hasn't had her period yet or she just had it and we never realized it. Reason being is because she is outside most of the day because it is typically nicer outside. She is now 1 and a half years old. So she should of had it half a year ago. Should I be alarmed and take her to the vet or is it common for dogs to have relatively unnoticeable periods?

Thanks in advanced.

My cat shows no interest in eating, and when he gets up to the water bowl, he stares at it like he doesnt know what to do anymore. He hasnet eatin in 2 days, and has not drank any water while Ive watched him. He aparently has been drinking some water because I dont think a cat can vomit for 2 days and keep vomiting some sort of watery substance. He was perfectly fine and his usual playful self just 2 days ago, so we arent sure what has gotten to him. He is VERY lathargic, and seems to have trouble locating people when they are right in front of him. He is 14 and a half years old, so hes an old man in cat years. He doesnt have any problem with me picking me up and holding him (and is really the only time he makes an attempt at purring) so I wouldnt think there is anything obstructing his stomach or intestines. Im thinking that he has some sort of cat flu or something. Can anyone conferm? I appreciate any help you may be able to give. Thanks. BTW the vets are closed on weekends here!

I have a small tank and shallow dirt substrate right now, I'm making some more as we speak. I put some lettuce in the tank. Just wondering if there's anything else I can do besides go to bed and put the dirt and some live insects in there tomorrow. His name is Filandrin' Pete, any advice? Thanks!

We purchased sonny bill from a local breeder, who I was recommended to, he insisted that he clip one of his wings while he got used to us.

He was 10wks old when we got him, and nearly eight months down the track i can see minimal growth in the wing, and he still cant fly..

has this man disabled him for good??

We have has birds before, and they were good to go after about 3 months, bnut we haven't had a parrot so large, im sorry if this is a silly question, but im baffled

i'm kinda worried about my puffer...i've had him about a week and i've never had one before...
~about two days after i got him, he started to set into a rutine and eating well {which is the norm} but no he's doing something i just now noticed....after i turn the light off on the tank and my other fish "go to sleep" so to speak....the puffer will turn a very dark color, almost balck and sing to the bottom of the tank and set in the middle of a plant i have. the first time i saw this i was worried that he might be dieing so i put my net in the water and put it next to him....he swan off and after a minute or so his regular color came back...but now it's night and he's black again..is this normal??

it's a fresh water tank and i think he's call a dwarf puffer of a green spotted puffer. he's white {normally} w/ black spots and a BRIGHT yellow head on top...if that helps

My three month old baby bettas began floating today and won't eat. One died, two are struggling, one seems okay. I went to feed them this afternoon and the biggest one was at the bottom laying on its side. I took him out and put him in a smaller container but he couldn't swim to the top and died a few hours later. I thought it would be a good idea to do a complete water change just in case whatever it was was contagious but when I opened the tank to get the other three out, one was in the middle of floating around in circles at the top. Needless to say, I panicked and now they're all in different containers. The two struggling ones are in shallow water because they can barely swim to the top (really have no clue if that's a good idea but it seems to be working). I've been flushing out their water with bottled water every few hours. This is my first set of babies and I thought all the dying and culling was over but I guess not :( Any ideas what it could be? Or how to save the rest?

I plan on getting a rabbit soon and I wanted to know how much an American Fuzzy Lop, a Flemish Giant or a German Grey Giant would cost.

I would prefer the cost of a baby rabbit, but whatever you know is okay.

I have some live bait leftover from my fishing trip... And basically now theyre waiting to die... Are there some meathods to keep them alive? So far only 5 left =[ Maybe I can keep them as pets before they die... So what kind of fish food does fish bait eat? I know the water thing, it needs to be cold and dont switch the water all at once.

So @ Live fishing bait stores, what do you do to keep the fish alive?
