When I went to the store yesterday ,I gave my dog a new treat, a Zwenkie, but she also found a sparkler my daughter didn't know she had lost,so I don't know which one is making her sick, I gave her some milk but what else can I do. She used the bathroom yesterday evening and this morning her stomach was upset both times, and this morning she has vomited twice, She is sleeping now. But what should I do?

Your 13 week old puppy was not supervised by you and ate something that is making her sick. You give her milk (dogs are lactose intolerant). She did not do this today. Why have you not taken her to the vet? A sparkler is not digestible and could easily block her intestines. Not only that but the flammable stuff on the end of the sparkler is most likely a poison. Puppies must be supervised at all times, you would not let a toddler run around your home unsupervised now would you.

Well, obviously you take her to the vet, what do you think vets are for? But what is confusing me is that your dog used the bathroom? That's one smart dog, or do you mean your daughter ate the sparkler and used the bathroom? Either way, it's a visit to the surgery.

it ought to be Coccidia , it motives diarreah , its an weird and wonderful germ that is affecting domestic dogs below the age of 14 weeks. Its uncomplicated to repair with some uncomplicated antibiotics. they might get it everywhere so dont blame the gal , in spite of the incontrovertible fact that i presumed it became the regulation you could no longer sell/ provide away a pup below 8 weeks of age ( Basicly via fact they have vulnerable immune structures and seize issues ) . collectively as waiting to your Vet , provide 2 tbs Apple Cider Viniager interior the water ( enables with Diarreah and cleansing up undesirable micro organism) , provide some million tbs Peanut butter, and a few million/2 Imodium ( grownup length green tab ) . the milk probably made it worse. Give her some pepto bismol(cherry flavor) about 1ml. I give my 30lb adult dog 2ml for an upset stomach. Give the vet a call in the morning. if she is not drinking she will get dehydrated.
Was there any blood in her stool? Was it the whole sparkler/? meatal stick and everything? if it was she may peirce her intesting trying to pass it. You can give her about a tsp of mineral oil to lube things up in there and help it come out easier.

Oh for heaven's sake - take her to the VET! Your dog has an obstruction in her gut! A SPARKLER?! They can't digest these you know!
You need an emergency vet, not an appointment. Go now - run, don't walk unless you want to lose your dog.

If it is a normal size sparkler, take her straight to the vet. It will jam up either her throat or colon, and she will never be able to pass it through her system. She needs to be operated on. Get to the vet NOW!!!!!
Trust me.

i don't think you should really have a dog if you need this sort of obvious question answered!!!! I know children that know better! I hope your puppy is ok but the time you wasted logging on to your computer and asking this question you could have run to the vet and maybe even saved her life....Good luck!
