Convict cichlids - just get a male and female that are over 1 1/2 inches long, add a clay flowerpot turned on its side as a spawning cave. Of course, the larger the parents, the more eggs they'll lay. Just be sure you condition the parents properly and they'll spawn on a regular basis (providing you remove the fry from the previous spawning).

One advantage of using cichlids is that the parents can be left in the tank - most species will eat their eggs or fry, but cichlids will provide parental care for the young.
