They have a barn stable, so I know its not the heat and they have all the water and food they could ever want! I even mix laying mash (a special helper to get them to lay eggs) in with every batch of corn and nothing for about two weeks. I have looked everywhere for eggs, becuase they have buried them before. The entire stable is chicken wired, so its not another animal eating them and I am very VERY stumped. They've always layed eggs, even in this kind of heat before...pleaqse respond if you have ANY CLUE

Could be protein.

Use straight laying mash instead of corn/mash

Could be age - if they're over a year, they slow down egg production

Light - If your stable is dark, they won't lay.

Molt - They'll stop laying when they're in molt

Get a rooster. The hens need someone to fertilize the eggs before they are layed.

I have raised chickens all my life. Mine always let up in the summer, then started again in a month or so. Also they always lay when a rooster is present.
