I put him into a QT tank and started treating him with some medication and I was wondering does it look like it's getting worse then get better? Any insite would help greatly since i'm still new to this Saltwater hobby!! Thanks in advance!!

Yes I used the same water from the main tank and did a small water change to the main take to refill the water. Also I believe it was a parasite because it looked like worms was growing from his skin and also he was darting around in the tank and scratching on my live rock. Also I used Mardel coppersafe and Saltwater MarOxy. Hope the extra info helps.

Do keep a careful eye on this fish. Make sure that the copper is maintained at a proper therapeutic level. If the fish shows obvious signs of discomfort, or if the wound looks worse, you may need to reduce the copper level until the wound heals. Keep very high water quality and make sure that the fish is eating well. Good luck!

What disease? What medication? Did you use the water from the mother tank to fill the sick tank?

If not, you probably shocked him buy putting him in comletely different water. The salinity, temperature and everything should be the same when moving these fish.

That really depends on the particular disease invloved. For example, many parasites can appear to worsen before they get better, but you shouldn't expect external bacterial infections to do this. More details could help us give you a much better answer.
