I have never removed the claws of any of my cats, but if I do not clip them once a week, they are like sharp needles. My two cats sleep with me and one layes on my feet in the bed. His claws are like daggers but I am not so good at regularly clipping them because he doesn't like it and it takes two people to do it; one to hold him and me to clip them.

Am I being negligent by not clipping his claws on a regular basis or should I have them removed?

I have a large tank of 12 fancy goldfish. Recently about 4 have taken to sitting on the bottom, feeding ok and swimming ok but spend alot of time just on the bottom. Another fish tucks itself in the corner, head down, tail up. The tail and a little underneath looks like its got red streaks? About a week ago I indtroduced 4 new fish to the tank along with the water they came in, and about 3 weeks ago I moved the tank downstairs and had to completely empty and refill it to do that. Most of the fish I've had trouble free for a number of years.

she is a panda bear hammy.she is a girly so it has to be girly.i was thinkin of sparkle or twinkel but i dont no.please help me out!!i want her to be used to her name!but otherwise she is the most loveable baby girl i have ever seen loves to be held and cuddled but please help.

Recently my Lab has been afraid to go outside. This is very unusual for him. We literally have to force him outside to use the bathroom, etc. At first I thought it was the heat but now I am not so sure. PS..he does not go to the bathroom in the house - he will hold it.

i think i have a really odd cat, because, it eats brocolli, rice, curry, bread and a host of other vegitables

of the cat goes though shopping and picks out brocolli over some meat based things

My dog has had diarrhea all day. This morning there was some blood and the diarrhea was very watery. He also vomited this morning and the day before yesterday. This afternoon he went again and that time there was more blood. Again, watery. I've also been worried about the bump he has around his waist. Vets say is nothing but when I touch it it seems to bother him. But I wonder if it just tickles him. What might be wrong?

So this outfit set out these racoon traps and caught two possums, a racoon, and a 4 week old kitten. Clearly I tried to set everyone free but only the kitten was small enough (cages had a lock mechanism you need a key for). Anyhoo, she hasn't eaten in days so I took her to the vet ($200 bill). She got some anti-biotics and a clean bill of health except she's currently a little anemic. So, we're (my wife, two dogs and I) nursing her back up to health but can't agree on what to call her. She's a pure "tiger" kitty, mostly grey, black (dark stripes), and white (paws, underbelly, accents). Not a whole lot of personality yet (though she likes perching on my shoulder as I walk around and do things) as she has been sick and scared (thought the latter has faded considerably in respect to her housemates). Any suggestions on what to call her, Yahoo faithful?

i bought my leopard gecko on july 4th i put it on rertile sand then yesterday i put it on towel paper because i forgot about the impaction thing
then on july 5th- today it turned a really light color from the neck down
is there something wrong with it?

my leopard gecko, whenever i feed it crickets it doesn't eat them
what should i do ?
it only eats a few mealworms and it eats wax worms super fast
how do i make it eat crickets?

My in-laws have a nice little duck pond they have made behind their house and have bought 6 ducks to put out there for it. They have to pen the ducks up at night because if they don't owls from the area will chop the ducks heads off. Why? I don't know but they will, so they have to keep them caged? They are having a very hard time scaring the ducks out of the water at the end of the day to cage them up. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas to get them out and into their cage. Thanks for any answers.

My cichlids are getting old now and im purchasing a 55 gallon long aquarium for them. Now, lucky me, I have my 20 H aquarium with bio-wheel filter and standared heater to do whatever the hell I want to do with it. SO; I want to do a marine tank. I was thinking that I wanted to do a couple common clowns, a type of goby, a small starfish, a peppermint shrimp and some type of angel (either flame, coral beauty or lemon peal). Do you think this may be a good mix? What are some other cool fish (peaceful) that I could put in a 20 gallon H aquarium! Oh, and I was going to do live rock, with a crushed coral and live-sand substrate with corals and maybe an annenomme. Is this a good Idea? HELP!

This started about three days ago ( he is a 10 mth amstaff) He threw up twice in the morning and then he was fine it was like a yellow mucus but it almost looked like urine. Then it happened again the next day. Then he was fine all day yesterday and today until now it happened again!! Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
