I caught my dog a couple days ago trying to eat a small gardner snake he found around the patio. He now has terrible diarrhea. He is also notorious from eating his own poop. Last time he had diarrhea like this was when I bought him, and he contracted coccidia from the other puppies in the kennel.

His diet has not been changed in the last month, so it can't be that. It is either the coccidia came back from eating his own poop, or he ate a snake and got sick. Some quick advice is helpful!

We just found an excellent groomer who charged $40 per dog (2 dogs). They brushed teeth and other extras. No cages, they got to run free and play with other puppies. We loved them and they did an excellent job! The groomer does not own the shop, but is employed in a pet boutique.

Omg somebody please help!! My cat has lost a LOT of weight and has something BIG and red coming out of her rear end. I haven't had her very long but when I got her she was fixed, had all her shots and was very healthy looking. She has been going outside quite often. I am so scared of her right now and don't know what to do! Is she dying? Is she dangerous to my 3 little boys and myself? Please help!

well i finally got my beta's together and they got eggs and the eggs must have hatched sometime during the night. The problem is that those little suckers keep falling out of the nest!!! he hasn't even finished blowing them back in the bubble when they fall again...plus...the floor is littered with baby bettas but the male is constantly busy with those in the nest which in my guess are not more than 20 if that...that he can't get to the ones at the bottom!!! is this normal???? Oh! and thanks all u beta breeding experts for all the advice of getting me this far. I love the betta talk sight. it says they keep falling but this looks like TOO much. How long can a baby beta live not being in a bubble cause it seems those on the floors are goners and there are more on the floor than in the nest!!! Help!!

Watching the TodayShow on NBC they were reporting on people being scamed by puppy scams. I wouldn't believe it I hadn't seen it when I was looking for a dog a year ago. These scam artist get on reputable websites and want your money(money gram/western union) and they will send you the puppy by an airplane. They fool people by showing so called pictures and most of these scam artist work from Africa and some in the U.S. Puppies and full grown dogs that are popular are being used to scam people. I remember this lady was trying to sell her Yorkie dog for 500 dollars and wanted me to send money and she would fly the dog over. I then asked her why she was selling her dog she said because she had to work overseas...yeah right. Its best to just adopt a dog at a local shelter, if you can't do that then buy from a reputable breeder where you know where your dog came from and make sure you make your research. Hope this helps!

My daughter' s pony is very overweight due to her not treating her properly. She is not riding her enough and she is giving her too much treats. I called my local vet and she gave me the proper foods to feed her. She told me that I should start riding the pony because i am heavier and it will help the pony to loose weight. She also told me to take her on long rides so the pony starts to sweat a lot. I have started to do so but the problem is that my 10 year old daughter is not happy at all. She says I am to rough on the pony. I keep telling her that the pony has to loose weight because it is very unhealthy. On Tuesday she came back from a holiday with school and she saw me riding back to the stable on her pony. When she came up to me she burst out crying cos she could see the sweat all over the horse and also on my levis jeans. She said that I am way too rough on the pony. I am now starting to think that I could be too rough on the pony. Do you think so? or should I keep it up?

Kimbah is now 17. Male, desexed feline. He has spondylosis and I can see, has problems rising and getting into a lying position. He gets the wobbles up when he walks as well.
He's also now started to miss his litter and is invariably targeting rooms in the house.
He eats like a horse but really, is skin and bones.
Above all, he still loves to be stroked.
When do I know whether he's too uncomfortable in this life? I had always thought I would know it was 'time' when he stopped eating and stopped looking for love but now, given his toileting and watching him try to get settled....I'm not so sure. Thoughts?
