Yea thats kinda normal for cats I guess. We have 3 cats...they are all old but atleast once a day, when they think no one is watching..they are acting like they are on drugs! They run around the house jumping at each other and playing. Its soo funny to watch, but it doesnt last long.

My two cats love chasing each other around at full speed, but Merlin has a sneaky trick to get ahead of Sophie. He uses the wall as a spring board so that he can corner faster than she can. He literally bounces off the wall and we now have paw prints half way up one them. I've never had a cat that did this before, but he is great fun and full of energy.

My cat plays fetch but when she goes mad she takes the elastic and starts to play with it under the legs of the chair. She will even get on the chair and do flips and stuff.
She is even crazier when I have this one specific kind of mouse toy (cab't find them here only by my mom's in an other state). She will hide them (sometimes under the rug--so cute!) and go search for them--she will attack them---she actually shakes her but and pounces them. Then she will bite them and then sit on them to smother them. I can't keep enough of these around! She ends up tearing them to bits in a couple of weeks or so. No matter how much she likes toys I make for her she absolutely loves those mice!

Yep, my Percy, is the same. All of a sudden he's running all over the house, bouncing off furniture, jumps over my dog's back and will attack my feet. It last for about 10 - 15 minutes and then he's calm again.
It is funny because it is like he gets this mad burst of energy and has to burn it off at all cost. Rather amusing.

Yes. She jumps up on everything, hides behind stuff then jumps out at you and attacks your feet, plays with bits of fluff that have come off stuff and just generally sprints about from room to room!
And she is very strangely partial to any elastic bands that have been left lying about. She puts it in her mouth and stretches it with her paws - so cute!

I had a manx growing up that would wake up out of a dead sleep, running across the living room, jump up on the couch and onto my head, spring off with his back feet and run out of the room in seconds flat, for no reason at all.

I love it when my cats have their mad moments. One of them starts attacking things and bouncing off the sofa and the doors. If you shout - go get em - she runs around looking for someone - very very funny.
