My Dog has got something wrong with his ears, they are bright Red in side, and when he scratches them he howels in pain, he has been back and forward to the Vet,s who has tested him on everything, we have tried all allergy foods, tried him on filtered water, antibiotics everything to the excess of thousands of pounds, but the Vet can not say what it is. He is now in so much pain that you can not stroke past him without him yellping, and he howels in pain during the night, can anyone help??????????

The vet told me everything but the TSH levels are okay. First blood test showed that her values were high, the second showed it was low. She can't keep going like this. I keep thinking she can get acid reflux from vomiting so much. Has anyone else had this problem with their older cat?

Yesterday it was hot out and he came in from under the deck limping. He limped all day and night. Of course my wife and I felt really bad for him and gave him tons of attention. This morning I woke up to take him to the vet and he is no longer limping!

Should we still take him in even though he is not showing the same symptoms? I check for cuts and thorns but didn't see anything. I am starting to wonder if he could be smart enough to fake it! He is a 95 lb Lab.

i have a 14 years old dog and three days ago he was hit by a car. Both of his back legs are broken. I called the vet and she wrapped his legs and gave him some medicine. 2 days ago he was fine. He ate and drank. But since yesterday, he's been refusing to eat and drink and his stomach is bloated. He cant sleep and barks a lot. His eyes are blood shot. Please tell me what is wrong with him?! im affraid he has GDV!! i need your answer ASAP

I have issues controlling my nerves when I ride, and lately I have been riding a horse that I use to be comfortable on and we did great. Now she gets nervous and so do I, and we were eliminated at the last show after only 3 jumps on cross-country because I got so nervous I froze. I know she is a good horse and would never do anything wrong, and I don't know what started my nervousness on her. My instructor suggested me going back to the push-button horse I used to ride to gain my confidence back, but I feel like this is taking a step backwards. I love the horse I ride now, and it is only on jumping that we get nervous. Should I feel embarrased about going back to an easier horse, or do you have any tips on how my horse and I can work it through together?

Everyone kept saying that these methods aren't effective, but I have eliminated her problem in one week!!! Together, flea and tick shampoo and a puppy flea and tick collar and no more fleas or ticks after only a week.

I want to purchase a pair of cage-birds.

. i also have a kitten that was the runt of the litter and i found her in our storage building almost starved to death. I took her in and raised her as my own child. that was almost a year ago. My family all say that i have a gift for small animals but i don't really know what i want to do. We had a dog for 10 years and my grandmother got sick and i had to take care of him. I helped take care of him while my grandmother was sick and in the hospital. I love all animals and hate to see when one gets hurt or abused. We adopted a mountain fiest and we brought her home as soon as we got her home she started smelling around and looking around at her new home. Then she came up and from the moment we got her i had my own little four legged shadow. i can't go anywhere without her following.

Does anyone else have this problem with Frontline? Everytime I use it, my cats get a bald spot between the middle of their upper shoulder blades and it looks raw and red. What's going on? Maybe I should stop spreading the fur apart when I apply? Any suggestions?

I am going to be moving soon and i have had a kitten for a few months now. Hes always been an indoor cat, but i want to make him an outside cat because i have heard it makes them happier. Can any one tell me if this is a bad idea and if not whats the best way to introduce them to their new environment?

and today has started rubbing her butt on the ground again ...

its not a urinary tract infection, what else can this be ? does she just need another dose ? she is almost 1 1/2 years old the vet said that one for sure would be enough, they did check stool and found no worms at all...

I have a dog that won't go outside when it's raining and won't leave the sidewalk if the ground is wet/muddy. If it's raining all day, he'll go to the bathroom in the house (he holds it as long as he can, but if he can't hold it anymore he'll go in the house before going out in the rain). If it's muddy (but not raining), he'll go to the bathroom on the sidewalk. Sometimes he'll go to the bathroom in the yard when it's a little muddy if you drag him over there and don't let him leave until he does, but sometimes he'll just stand there and stare at you with a pathetic look on his face, ears back and tail down until you let him go back in the house.

What should I do about this?

for a year now my pony has had sore back legs, one minuite he is running round the field fine and then the next he is really sore and then after a while he is fine again. at first i thought he was trying to con more food out of me but it has lasted for so long. we have tried to get th vet out but he is scared of the x ray machiene.

I was in NY over the weekend and saw this turtle in a grassy field. You could see it had dug in a few different spots, but when we came upon it, the turtle was busy digging in another spot.
Just wondering if it was digging to lay its eggs.
