I have 9 month Samoyed but I wanna get insured for her just in case for her future or sickness, accidents and etc..

Care to explain how it works, does it only work for one dog or like 2 dogs or more or just any dog you bring to the vet

I'm like possible the most worried owner now, cause I've put down 2 dogs cause of sickness that coudn't be cured and of old age 15

The bills were very high, but at the time i didnt think about getting insured

I live in New York City, If that helps

I have 2 great dogs rite now, and love them and all, but I can't help but wanting a puppy. My parents said absolutely not, but I know I can handle it. I can't pay the expenses, but my parents have good jobs! How can I convince them to get a puppy, or should I just drop it??

I am the proud owner of a 12yr old black cocker spaniel named amber cute, friendly, like a picture had her since she was 8weeks old. Im so attached to her yet very turmoiled on my decision if i should put her to sleep. She is quite ill she currently is suffering from a ear desease affecting the inner ear to be infected and it comes out to the outer ear, it has a horrible odor as well. Ive being dealing with this since she was about 8yrs old but it only has gotten worse spent hundreds on medications and holistic remedies as well. Currently she is completly deaf in both ears and due to the ear infections her ears are hard and matted even after gromming her. she hold her head to the sides bangs her head when the irratation gets to her , and now lately she only sleeps and her eyes aren't clear there quite weak and disclored from her infection in her body i assume. she has always been a very mild tempered dog but I feel that she is extremly uncomfortable and her quality of life is gone!

The fbackyard fence is wooden privacy fence that the dog either takes a run at and jumps over or runs at and climbs over and we don't want to chain her up because that takes away from her freedom of not being tied up. We keep her in the house while we're at work., but that causes messes to be cleaned up

in other words - do they need to have a tank full of water and just a few rocks to sit on or can it live in a tank full of rocks with only a little "tub" of water to bathe in?

also - what about a green turtle?

He freaked out on me (he's better now) and I was wondering: is it normal for a corn snake to shake his tail like a rattle snake? He's the sweetest pet ever but I was completely scared (though I do know a lot about corn snakes).

we have two pet turtles that were caught from a local resevoir. both of them are about the size of a half dollar. recently, their shells have become soft - almost flexible.

we have them under a heat lamp and feed them regular turtle food bought from the store. is this normal? is there something else we should be doing? are they sick?

thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.
