See your Vet if her chewing is extreme. I had a Blue Heeler mix (I know you said blue tick, but just relating here), and that dog ate everything it could put it's mouth around. It ate collars off my other dog, ate the auto car mats, tore through wire and wood to get to and chew airconditioning wiring, shocking himself and then doing it again when it was reinforced again, ate shoes, toys, a good deal of a VariKennel cab, furniture, everything and anything. This dog ate toys that were supposed to be indestructible for Rottweilers. Turns out he has a screw loose which no training could correct and he was put on a drug that helped this behavior calm way down. Can't remember what it was. But that was an extreme situation. GL with your dog and if training doesn't help, consult your Vet.

If I where you I would sign up for some obedience classes. This way I could learn the proper ways to teach my dog new tricks and the dog can learn how to behave and learn that she is not the leader of the pack. You can find a good obedience trainer by calling the vet and asking for a trainer in your area. They should have a listing that they can give you. After going throught the training you will be coming out with the satisfaction that you know how to control your dog and you and her will have a much stronger bond because of it. Good Luck

Dogs aren't bad, they just don't understand what we expect of them. We have to teach them. You need to crate her when you aren't there to show her right from wrong so she can't make mistakes. When she is loose, keep an eye on her. If she goes to chew something up, say "NO" and give her a toy. Play with her and her toys a lot. Dogs are not born knowing what is acceptable behavior and what isn't. Get in touch with a good dog trainer/behaviorist so they can teach you how to teach your dog. Be kind and patient...she is still a puppy and has a lot to learn. :)

say "NO" firmly and deeply at her take the object away, and then give her an appropriate toy. If you see her chewing on her toy praise her lots! Dont let her get items that can be chewed up open to her! That will aslo elimanate some of the problems.

Sounds like she needs to be trained! There are some really excellent dog obedience training courses out there that you can use. Be careful though - there are some pretty bad ones too. Here's one I recommend (a ton of people have had success with this one):

It's likely that she's bored. How often do you walk her? Does she get much exercise? Dogs are a lot like kids- they will do whatever it takes to get attention, so try reinforcing her positive behavior, rather than focusing on her bad behavior.

Treat her like a dog, GIVE HER REGULAR EXERCISE (very important), never let her control you. You really need to control a dog like a rott. They are very powerful and you cannot afford to lose control of them.,
