I've looked it up on-line, and I think with the help of my friend who went to vetern's school for awhile, we can do it.

I made a terrible mistake.. I had him neuterd at 6 months old, and he is now 4.

He is the most amazing cat, and I NEED more.

I am going out of town next weekend and taking my dog with me, and I was wondering if anyone knew any dog parks near Hayward, Wisconsin I could check out.

My 4 month old toy poodle puppy (Mia) is having trouble peeing and pooing in the right places. It's been more than a month since she's been at the apartment where she lives now, and she 'sometimes' manages to 'go' in the right place (her peeing tray in her big cage, which we leave open), but most of the time she either pees right outside the cage door or next to the couch etc. We've been washing the places where she'd peed before with baking soda water.
I think it's time for us to take her for some training, maybe obedience training? She doesn't listen to us much. She keeps jumping up and also tries to bite our fingers a lot even when we tell her off.
We live in Hong Kong, and need some advice on where/who we should go to for some doggy training. Some place we can trust!

It'd be great if anyone can give me any advice on what to do in the meantime too!

Thanks in advance.

i hate it when my cat bites me whenever i try to pet her even if she was the one who came up to me for some petting. i have become harsh to her before but i overcame that already, eventually accepting the fact that she bites. but just a few minutes ago, she bit again and it got me so angry that i kicker her. im feeling so guilty now.. i know it was wrong.. and i feel sorry for it..

before i wanted to get a new cat, one that i could start all over with, but i've loved my cat too much to let her go.. what should i do? please help.. i would never let her go..

My cat butterstripe, who I have had since I was 6 because we adopted him from a shelter, is disgustingly obese. I know, its incredibly unhealthy, and believe me we have tried to stop it. We buy expensive diet food, we buy lots of toys, I even bought a leash and collar so he can go outside for walks to exercise, I play with him everday.....we give the right portion of food.......no huge heaping ones.......................what is wrong???!!!

I feel like I'm doing everything possible! I took him to his vet, there is nothing wrong with him making him this fat! If there is anyon eout there that has an opinion or advice on what this is, how to help him, or really, just anything that might help, can you answer my question?

Thanks in advance everyone!

I have heard that pit-bulls only attack other dogs, if they are treated with love and care. But others say that they will attack people no matter what.

Nope, not in a spoken human language, but yes, they do communicate constantly. Whether it's your happy housepet, your barnyard domestic buddy, or livestock that you make your living from.. all animals talk. Even the wildlife you run into by accident is broadcasting a language, hoping you're listening.

Animals expect other animals to 'hear' them, even if all the talk is non-verbal. Sadly, not that many humans know how to 'hear'.. even from a friendly and well known pet, leaving folks baffled about the nature of animal behaviorism.

I like to listen, and have spent 50 years learning to understand different creatures' languages in all their most basic forms. I train horses and dogs professionally, am trained by cats and wildlife, and live with an eccentric batch as pals. I really enjoy helping interprete for humans, & maybe solving a few mysteries about critters along the way.

Ask me any animal or behavior question; if I dont know the answer? I may know where to look!

My friend has a rose hair trantula, it got loose for a while and she found it back with a cut on its belly. Is this part of the molting stage or is it a cut? Will it live?

i love my dog, but she has this thing where she is always snapping at our hands. when i try and pet her head, she just wants to clamp her teeth around my hand. she is six months old, but she does seem to have all of her adult teeth in. but she hasn't been spayed yet so i don't know if that has anything to do with it. will it improve after she's spayed, or will she grow out of it, or is that just the kind of dog she is? and what can i do to help discourage this bad problem?
