I just got two new goldfish and put them with my two red-slider turtles. There are bubbles on the edges of the tank are they eggs or what?

Goldfish and turtles do not belong together for so many reasons. One, yes, the turtles will eat the fish. Two, turtles and goldfish have completely different biological and environmental needs. If your intentions were to kill the goldfish, then you can leave them in this tank. If you actually want them to live, please do some research on keeping goldfish and get them the proper size tank with proper water quality and environment.

No, goldfish choose everywhere from a 30-seventy 5+ gallon tank and for 2 alot bigger. Goldfish are VERY messy fish as a results of fact they produce a super bioload that a customary filter out won't be able to handle and for this reason choose double filteration 2 goldfish in a a million gallon tank could be fortunate to final some days as a results of water high quality, to be truthful not something is sutiable for a a million gallon tank even shrimp and snails choose 2.5 gallons and bettas 5+ gallons with a filter out and heater.

It could be just air bubbles due to the type of filtration system you have. I find that a hang over filtration system keeps air bubbles out of the tank. If their just clear bubbles that is all it is.

Red sliders breath oxygen, it might just be the air exhaling when their under water. Don,t know how big your sliders are, but I had two that I feed feeder fish to as part of their regular diet. If your sliders are small o.k. If their larger, you might want to seperate them before they eat your goldies.
