We have a 9 month old chocolate lab and have jsut brought home a 2 month old Siberian husky. The husky doesnt bark and the two dogs dont bite or bark at each other. But for some reason our lab if he is not on a leash will run all over the house non stop sometimes growling. What should i do? last night they licked each other to sleep so it seems like they get along

has anyone met Cesar Millan or had their dog(s) rehabilitated by him? i have a german shepard mix who hates other dogs and would like to kill them, but she is a sweet dog who is smart an obediant. how do you contact Cesar to have him rehab your dog?

Now, 9 am might not sound early to many people, but I work second shift so my 9am is most people's 5am. Now, evry morning my cat goes neurotic at 9am, waking me from a sound sleep. She yowls, runs back-and-forth, scrathes on things she's knows is wrong (destroying our woodwork :(...), and climbs all over me to get me up. At first I thought she was hungry...but she doesn't eat, she just wants me up.

Is there anything I can do that doesn't invlove ignoring her while I listen to my security deposit get ripped apart by her claws?

The owner of the barn does not want to buy new sawdust until the "old" stuff is gone... The problem is that the current sawdust has gotten wet, it is not super wet, but I want to make sure that it wil not cause too much issuses for the horses hooves.

Our younger male cat is getting bigger, plus he is absrudly long haired, so my wife and I wondered if the older cat is getting intimidated and trying to assert his aplha maleness. We also had a guest, and the cats always act weird when we have guests.

I am not so worried about the moungint, but we are worried this might lead to spraying.

Anyone have similiar experiences with their cats?

I guess another way to ask this is " Can females also have egg spots ?" For example I have a pair of M. Auratus one which I know is male one I am not sure. It seems to have a single elongated egg spot , but has the characteristic coloring of a female. Is there any way I can tell for sure ? I know males will sometimes hide their true gender.

I thought there was only one kind of vaccine, but apparently theres two, one for leukemia and one for cat flu i think?
Im only getting one of them today, and not sure which one to get.
I think she has already had cat flu and gotten over it.
She is an indoors cat.
Anyone have any advice?

Have owned dogs all my life well 2 dogs as they both lived to be old! i now have a 3yr old daughter and a 2 yr old cat whos mainly outside and comes in at night. would like some opinions on best age of a dog/puppy to go for. Also what breeds? Do like greyhounds but not all are good with cats and housei snt that big.

Weve tried everything under the sun, i think she gets the concept, but it seems like she cant hold it. and she knows she does wrong, bc everytime she goes on the floor she runs and hides. we dont leave her food sitting out either, so she cant continually eat. she also goes in her cage, and its not to big for her either. i know dachshunds are hard to train, but i never knew it would take this long. What do i do?????

I just got my 6 mo. old cats spayed and neutered. Before they were best friends now she hisses and growls at him and he growls back. Why are they acting this way and will they ever be friends again?

its a stray and i cant take her to the hospital. i firts gave her sulphur and scratching reduced by 60% but seeing her whimper and biting herself,i called a NGO vet and described the condition..hair missing cut ears, face full of wounds and he felt it was mange as 90% dogs suffer from it ,when i told him that she has pink boils he was fully convinced and adviced half ivermectine for six weeks. 3 days back after the second dose i noticed she was scratching very little,but just 2 days back i saw increased itching and new attack just above her eye..its horrible to see her whole face full of bleeding wounds. now im desprate and giving her sulphur (which i had stopped for 10 days) i try sprinking sulphur on her, but am scared also that she may not like it and bite me. i dont want to call the animal ngo as i like seeing her every day and plan on curing her myself ,also they might not come . is it natural that mange has attacked a new area..? how many doses before her ordeal ends?

My dog weighs 80 pounds and is holding up his left front paw. There is a swelling and it's tender. I need to get him downstairs; however, I can't carry him and I don't think he will let us carry him down in a blanket. How do I get him downstairs?

Okay so I have heard that Shiba Inu's don't get along with other dogs ..is this true?? If not what breeds will be good for my Shiba Inu, I really want her to have a friend but cannot deal with trying to train another Shiba Inu, she still at times can be very challenging. I really like small dogs and would love to have a small dog for myself so that Jacey (our shiba inu) will have a companion even though the breeds that I have been considering are small (toy) dog. Now I would like you to keep in mind that my shiba inu is only 4 months old so she is still a puppy. Any suggestions or advice I would greatly appreciate. Thank you!
