they are British short hair silver Tabby's and are very expensive and sort after. usually range from £250 - £400.
British short hairs are chunkier in the face and body compared to American short hairs and have a slight difference in markings. whiskas adverts defiantly used this breed in there TV add.

Some times it's hard to tell by looking at a cat if it is a specific breed. These cats may be any of the breeds people have already mentioned, or they may just be plain old tabby cats that are not any specific breed, just domestic short hairs. Both of my cats are "mutts" and they are stunningly beautiful. Try pet finder or a local pet rescue, you will find beautiful, sweet cats that are less likely to carry the health problems that pure breds often have, for a heck of a lot less money. This look is common enough that unless you are into showing or breeding cats, you find the same thing in a tabby.

Hi there---these little guys appear to be the BEAUTIFUL silver Bengal to me. However, when they are kittens like this, it's really hard to tell whether this really IS a Bengal or a silver-grey tabby. Cat Fancy Magazine just did a full feature on the Bengal. Go to their website @ www.catfancy.com and take a look for yourself. While you are there, there will also be a long list of breeders of any cat you might be looking for, and where they are. Good luck in finding the Beauty you want.

That's NOT an American Shorthair - it's a DOMESTIC shorthair - a cat of no particular breed. Did you buy your kitten from a breeder and get papers for her? No, you didn't. Which means this kitten isn't any breed at all. It's a "domestic" just like over 97% of the cats on this entire planet. What do you mean you "think" it's a he? Why haven't you taken it to the vet to be checked out and get it's first set of shots???

LOL Thats a really cute picture. It could be just a regular tabby cat. My cat looks just like it...but my cat is mixed tabby and Maine Coon. (I only know that because I was fortunate enough to bump into the people that brought him in and know the kittens parents etc.) Do you have animal shelters? maybe go there and look at the cats there. THat is how I found mine.

looks like your run of the mill tabby cat. they are some good pics, the comment the laughing one made...that cat just ain't right...but it's funny anyway, i'm still chuckling.
all kittens are as cute, and any cat is just real cool...check your local pound or humain society and adopt one.

It's American shorthair , silver in color. Pick up an issue of Catfancy and they have breeders in the back. Or you can google the breed and put like "American Shorthair breeders" or something.

They are pretty aren't they?
