I'm going to get a dog when im 13 and im 11, im going to get a chihuahua male that is already neutered and has had his shots, my mother knows that i am responsible enough but she wants to wait till im 13 (so that I can be more responsible with housework and stuff and so I can havemore time for it cause when im thirteen i go to a new school which I get out earlier from) ive treid so much to make her change her mind about getting when im 13 and letting me get it now but its not working. My mom says that I can only get a dog when im 13 or if my friends dog is having pups (which there not) or if the dog is free. I asked if I can look in penny saver and get one since they have many ads but she said no... i feel so jealous watching my friends playing with there dogs... how do I make time feel shorter and faster? Like dogs are what I live for... so help me out how do i make time feel short and fast???

She will be 2 in July 07. SHe is only 41 pounds and very fast. White markings on all four legs, under body and some beside her nose. She also had spots of pink on her underside mixed in with the white fur. I have added a pic for you.

We have a beagle that was in a pen near a house (30 feet) that burned down. The dog showed no signs of injury, just seemed scared when we got to the fire/ashes 5 hours later. Three days later the dog seemed to be in pain with several tender spots on his neck and one side. We took him to the vet and the vet thinks the dog was burned even though his hair was completely intact. The vet shaved several tender spots and now they have become open sores and are getting larger after 4 days (we're returning to the vet tomorrow). Could a dog's skin burn like this with no visual damage to his hair or is something else going on with our pet? PS-New tender spots seem to be appearing on his other side 8 days later. HELP!!!!!

She was just at the vet 2 weeks ago, and she was fine. Now there is hair missing and the skin is pink. She is black haired and her paws are black too, the pads I mean. But the one foot seems to be irritated. I WILL take her to the vet tomorrow. But any thoughts on the cause so I can sleep tonight?

I got my betta a couple of weeks ago. It was fine.
Now it has ICK, i know that for a fact. Well I have noticed yesteday that it had a gray spot on its tail, as if it was dipped into something. But today its gone worse, almost his whole tail is gray and it looks as is someone dyed it, but its not a pretty gray its a bad color of gray. The fish is originally blue.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH MY BETTA! Tell me what to do or what to get...anything!?
Save a life =]

I have never seen anything like it. It looks like a baby, about 2.5 inches long. Does anyone know what kind of lizard this is? I'm afraid there is a big one near by. I live in west texas, but it's the first time I've seen an orange lizard. Usually I see green, or brown lizards, but never orange. Are these poisonous? I'm scared. I don't like creatures I know nothing about.

I just got this kitten today 3 months old from the shelter, she was seen by the vet and they told me she has a cold and gave me medicine to give her, and I gave her the medicine about 25 minutes ago and she just threw up. Is this normal should I be worried?

I just got my cat of 2 years about 5 days ago and I have tried to play with her with string and mice and other things and she doesnt seem to be interested. When she sprints up and down the stairs it seems like her way of hunting but it scares me everytime and I was wondering if there is something she is going through that is causing this or if this is healthy or if there is something I could offer her to make things easier.

I live in a normal town, not like LA or anything. Last week a couple had a dog in a special dog stroller in the mall. Today I saw a lady with a dog at Barnes and Nobles. Is it just me, or is this odd?

I have two girls left from a litter of kittens to have spayed. One of them sleeps in my bed, the other does not. BOTH cats, however, have peed in my bed. I've seen them spray - that's different - they actually squat and relieve themselves on my sheets, my blankets, my mattress (after I've removed the soiled sheets). Are they angry with me for some reason? Are they "marking their territory?" I thought animals didn't soil where they slept?

They would get them homes quicker & easier, and the people that got them could brag to their friends about their rare "beagasheltipoo". It could put the 'designer dog' breeders out of business, and find homes for many deserving shelter dogs at once! What do you think?

To choose a horse takes a lot of time and money consuming,to choose the best one you love takes even more. but it does have its rewards. Before you choose a horse, you should make sure you have found one that fits your personality, and is suitable for the purposes you want. There are a lot of pitfall that can, not only be expensive, but heartbreaking. If you find the right you can have a lifelong relationship. That may be the best one for you. http://horsefaq.org/
