He's had runny poo for a couple of weeks now, the uncontrolable, explosive kind and my mum suggested feeding him boiled chicken and rice which i have been for about 4 days now but now its just as sloppy but with loads of clear jelly looking stuff in it.

hes eating, sleeping and is as playfull as normal which is why i havnt taken him to the vets yet but im getting a little worried.

is it normal for puppies to have runny poo for this long?

you share a house. I have been treating my indoor cat weekly. I'm always vacuuming and spraying my half of the house. Even taken her to the vet. My problem is I have an apartment in a house that I share with my landlords. they have 2 cats and 2 dogs. they will not treat thier poor flea infested animals or the house. how can i keep the fleas from coming into my place. I feel so bad for the animals. and I don't like having to treat my cat weekly. but if i don't she becomes severly infested. I don't have the money to move have dwindled my savings with flea sprays and vet visits. My next question is what health problems can fleas cause humans? I know they cause worms and respitory illness in animals

for a girl or Arthur for a boy. My friend called her cat Geronimo, but I can't think of anything different. I like the sound of adult names for cats, but I couldn't call it Poopsy!!

I am getting a Flemish Giant that is about 4 months old from a friend who just can’t care for it any more. (A buck) I would like to get some good pointers on how much to feed him now & when he reaches adulthood. So he is as healthy as can be, and not over weight.
-How much Pellets should he get per day? (Average for young and adult age?)
-How much Hay should he get per day? (Average for young and adult age in pounds/hand fulls?)
-What type of Pellets are better? “American Pet Diner Timmy Rabbit Food” or “Oxbow Bunny Basics 15/23”
-What type of Hay is better for him? “American Pet Diner Mount Grass Hay” or “High Fiber Timothy Hay”
-What kinds of wood are safe for him to chew on that I can get from a hardware store etc?
-Any vitamin/supplements needed for his total health?
-How Much Greens per day?
-What is the best but also not really expensive litter to use for him?
Links with info on the care of Flemish Giants & places to buy the supplies inexpensively would be great!

She licks the area at the base of her tail and has hair missing there. At first I thought the kids had shaved her hair, being curious with daddy's beard trimmer. That isn't the case. The cat isn't scratching at this area, just licking it. What could be the cause of it? The other cat I have is fine.

My german shepard puppy 'leaks' pee. she pees outside, then inside she will 'leak' (pee in a line, tiny bit here and there) whenever she is talked to or touched. my vet said it is a submissive behavior and for us to let her approach us... but she JUMPS on us (which we are trying to work on) and she STILL does pees! has this happened to anyone else? if so, how did you handle it?

she's 5 months old, ~35 lbs, we are starting obedience school soon, i'm afraid she'll pee all over the place there! we walk her daily, take her to the dog park on weekends, try to socialize her as much as possible... she just won't stop peeing (leaking)!!!!! HELP!

He's an indoor cat, about 3.5 years. His poops looks fine - normal shape an consistency, but the past 2 days he has been constantly licking his butt. I don't really want to make an unnecessary trip to the vet if I don't have to - any thoughts?

My dog is 3 years old, a medium size and a *****. After about a year and a half she started to moan and stratch her ear. She would cry if we touched it. we took her to a vet, who told us it was just a build up of wax, she had to clean it out, so she sedated my dog, she was that bad!
she still crys about her ear, it looks sore, but i cant afford 75.00 every time i take her to the vets to be given advice that isnt working and some spray which isnt helping the soreness.
Ive taken her 3 times to the vet already. any advice that could actually work
please help!!!!!!!!

My nine year old male has suddenly - within the last few days - decided that he doesn't need to use the litter pan anymore. I have found wet and solid messes several places throughout the apartment. He is not opposed to using the litter pan if I place him in it (I did this last night because he was wandering, and he immediately peed), and I have managed to impress upon him that he should at least go within the vicinity of the litter pan. When I woke up this morning there was a very large pile of poop right outside the litter pan. I have not changed his litter, though I did recently get a new, giant covered litter pan with a swinging door. He has used a smaller litter pan with a swinging door in the past, so I really don't know what the problem is with this one. A swinging door is NECESSARY, because Remington does not believe in covering his poop and he really stinks up the apartment. He's indoors strictly and no signs that he's sick. Any thoughts on how to retrain him? Thanks!
