Without seeing the issue I would suspect an allergy-try Benadryl. Or a yeast problem. Put Lamasil or Lotrimin inbetween her toes. Hopefully your vet has a product called ZN-7 Otic. The one for ears actually works best if the problem is yeast.
Good Luck

Does he have cat feet? Compact paws with arched toes, like the doberman? Sometimes a change in exercise or moisture can cause this with too tight feet. Eventually it will go away, but you need to keep them from licking it as it is often caused by moisture. I would check with your vet, but that is likely what it is. Just irritation from walking longer. Diesel gets it on his back paws occasionally when it's wet out, his feet are just too tight and rub together, Amara's feet are more correct and don't have that problem. Keep their feet dry, even using baby powder and keep them from licking. Give it a few days and see if it's better, if not get an appt with your vet, it may be a fungal infection or something else. If it seems to be anything more than mildly uncomfortable get in sooner.

There can be many causes for this, but most likely it's gras that has gotten between her toes. This can be painful and cause infection. Also very common!
If she will let you, poor some hydrogen peroxide onto the site. You can also soak her feet (give her a bath...) which will sometimes draw the foreign object out. Get into the habit, especially in climates with lots of grass or twigs, of checking between her toes every few days. Especially if you notice any abnormal licking in the area. That is your first clue that there is something wrong. Usually easily remedied though.
Try not to worry. She's probably ok. But of course, see your vet to make sure. But don't let yourself lose any sleep over this.

What would you do if your skin was raw and chafed? Put some vaseline or even vegetable oil on it. Don't put a human hand lotion or similar thing on it because the dog will lick it, but Vaseline or Petroleum Jelly or just veg oil or even olive oil will help ease the irritation until you can find out if it is something like athletes foot from the vet...

A lot of things can irritate a paw. If she stepped in something chemical, or salt from trying to de-ice walkways. Or an allergy to food can cause it. Or if a spider bit her. Even harmless spider bites can hurt. Or if she got a thorn or something there.

Has she been out in rain or snow? If their paws are not dried when they come in, they can get irritated....
And I'm glad you said you are taking her to the doc tomorrow!
