She always has food, water, clean litter box, lots of toys, and lots of attention. The second no one is paying attention to her she starts up. Is she crazy or just silly?

can i mix my guppies with goldfish? ................... my guppies are doing fine without a heater so i wanna add goldfish...just answer this question, dont argue and say "guppies are tropical so they need a heater" (i live in a very hot region in the world .....philippines......so JUST answer the question

My family have been trying the keep goldfish for a couple of years. But the longest duration was only for around 6 months. We just had 2 new ones dead. they were fine when we bought them, then after a few days or a week, they seems to have white spots on their scales or sometimes, like red spots.
Help.. we need advices

I've been sick for about a year and am being assessed for heart disease amongst other things....like cancer, etc... There are days I can barely function. We have three small dogs and I feel overwhelmed trying to care for them. The male dog belongs to my kid and she doesn't live here and I've threatened to taking him to the humane society and letting them find him another home--IF she doesnt take him with... But everytime I think about it, I feel so guilty. He's like a member of the family after all of these years. One of the other dogs has been with him since birth....which complicates things a bit more. The smallest dog....the only one that can't jump on the furniture....is the easiest to care for and I've considered just keeping her and letting the others go.... But then I feel sick over that too..... I just don't know what to do. No ones playing with them anymore.... or grooming...or walking..... I really need some good advise as to how to handle this delicate situation.

I had a good track record with dogs and cats, but this is my first fish. I changed her water tonight - first water change, and she's only been home a few days, and now I notice that one of her pectoral fins is missing. Will she make it through the night? Is it just wait and see?

I want to fly my dogs with me as cargo. They are Malinois. I know it's stressfull on them but it is more stressfull for them to be left here while I'm gone for 2 months. Frontier is the best but its service doesnt start untill May. Delta doesn't do live pets into Vancouver. Neither does Alaska Air - I was going to drive to DFW and go from there. ?????????????????

...does anyone have a golden retriever with runny eyes? My vet is saying he needs to have surgery as his lower eyelids are irritating him. But the one eye that does not need the surgery also "runs."
I know G.R.'s are prone to eye problems, but is anyone familiar with this???? (I've also tried the stuff recommended to remove the staining (he looks like a raccoon) this causes, but that doesn't help much!

when i get my puppy in march i'm planning on getting her fixed but i don't know how much it costs
and also i have a 1 year old fixed terrier mix named Trent that i adopted from an animal shelter when i got him he was already fixed and the shelter didn't tell me what the price of it was and also he has kennel cough i want to take him to the vet so i can get it cured because i hate seeing him go through the coughing attacks plus i know it is contagious and i don't want it spreading to my husky puppy when i get her...
so does anyone know the prices for
Spay/Neutering and for getting rid of Kennel cough???

Whenever my cat comes into my room she makes a beeline for a shoebox I have and she curls up and sits there. The same is pretty much for any other box we put in front of her. She always jumps right in.
Is there a reason cats like boxes so much? Or do they just do?

Hello,
I have a brand new 6 gallon Eclipse tank. I set up the tank on Monday (rocks, ornaments, live plants) and put in some freshwater Biozyme. I heated the tank to 73 Degrees. I added the fish (1 male Beta and one snail) on Tuesday evening. Every day I have been putting in some biozyme to build up the beneficial bacteria. The fisha nd snail are doing great. I was notified today that the power in my neighborhood will be off tomorrow from 9am to 4pm. The outside temperature tomorrow will probably be around 31degrees F. My house cools off rather quickly because of it's many windows. I am concerned about the water in my tank cooling down to much. What can I do to prevent this? Also, I have to leave the house tomorrow at 8am (1 hour before the power will be off) and will not be back home until 1pm. Any advice would be helpful. If the water does cool down, how do I reheat the tank with the fish in it? I am very concerned about this whole situation.

I have a pretty strong cold for a few days now. My dog went spilled over my garbage trying to get a piece of sandwich I threw in there. I came into the room and he had already spilled all of the used tissues! He got my germs! How can I protect him so he won't get sick? Can I give him airborne or anything like that? I don't want my dog to go through what I'm going through right now!
