last week i purchased a 6 week old puppy and took it to the vet who told me that she has out a 6 level, 1 being very mild 6 being severe she has a 3. Ive gotten mixed info on the web about its seriousness, has anyone had a dog or puppy that has or had a heart murmur, and what happened?

We've had our dog for 5 months now, we had gotten her when she was 2 months old, we are STILL haveing a lot of trouble with house breaking. She knows that she does something wrong when she goes to the bathroom on the floor ( she runs and puts her self in the cage!) what can we do? its getting really frustrating that she is not grasping the concept

I recently (3 weeks ago) got a Japanese Chin puppy. She is now 11 weeks old. She is a good puppy, but sometimes when I go to pick her up she will start growling and biting. I have her in training and the trainer suggested that I get some Bitter Apple spray and spray a drop or two in her mouth when she bites. I have done this, and it has worked a little, but I was wondering if anyone else had any good suggestions.

Zoophile: A zoophile is someone who has meaningful relationships with animals. not just sex. The act of fuck1ng, or more accurately, raping an animal is beastiality.

Do believe a human can have a meaningful relationships with an animal?

my kitty is 10 months old and has been kinda a pain in the ***. she gets into stuff and doesnt learn when she is punished for doing something, like jumping up on the counter, we spray her with water, she jumps down, next day she jumps up on the counter. stuff like that, we are consistant with her but notheing really seems to be getting any better. but the biggest problem is now that she has been peeing on our stuff, on book bags, in shoes, even on shower curtains. is the all a phase or is she just a naturally naughty kitty?

My dog was not always a barker. He is now very tuned in to my emotions. If I gasp or laugh loudly while watching TV, he runs out of his doggy door and barks at nothing. Also, he has started barking at strangers who wish to pet him. This is obviously the bigger problem. He barks and will not let them pet him. I am not sure why this started because I can't think of anything that has changed.

I just got a new cat from the animal shelter, and they have them spayed. I picked her up from the vets office, surpized to find that she had two metal like stitches coming from her stomach.. When I got her home we layed her down and tried to get her to rest, but she is obsessed with those stitches. The vet says that she shouldn't be messing with them that much, but they didn't give us any type of cone or way to ensure that she doesn't pull them out. Im worried about that, and the vet office is closed now and wont open again till after the holidays. They didn't tell us that we needed to come back in to have the stitches removed so will they fall out on their own? and is there some way to prevent her from messing with the stitches.. it wouldn't be so bad if she was just licking, but she is trying to bite the eccess metal ends off.

The cat, a male, is uesd to dogs and the dog, a mellow female lab, hasn't been around cats. Any knowledgeable pet owners' suggestions regarding their introductions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

We have 2 young children, and my fiance wants to bring home a pit/lab mix from a friend. He is good at training dogs, and insists he's seen the puppies and they have more of a lab personality, but I'm still wary. Anybody else have pits or pit mixes and successfully raised them with children and other dogs? I have a small mixed breed terrier, and I'm afraid a pit mix would harm the children or my dog.

i have a friend who's dog (she took the dog in as a pregnant stray) had puppies and she was wondering when the pups should be introduced to solid food??
i have explained to her that when she starts to feed the pups that the puppy chow needs to be watered down with warm water so that it is soft for them to digest but when should they be started?
the pups will be 4 weeks old on tuesday dec 26.

thanks for all of your help

please do not make rude or ignorant comments as the lady that took the dog in is my best friend and she took this pregnant dog in when it was left out in the cold and has since had the dog to the vet's before she delivered her pups and will have her there again after the pups are 6 weeks old so that all of them will have their booster shots.
all of the pups have found loving homes and if they hadn't then she would have kept them all.
