A VERY VERY LARGE DEVOTED DOG! This dog would be a great protector of your family and home but should be gentle and kind to children.(especially yours) This dog will take a lot of special care because of it's size and you should be REALLY sure you want to take the responsibility for at least 10 years. It will likely have lots of hair and will need cleaning up after constantly. It may be a drooler, a BIG drooler, you know, the kind of dog that when it shakes it's head will spew drool around the room for miles. If you are ready for all this plus a large food budget then you will have a loving, friendly, want to sleep with you kind of guy!! Good Luck to you. Dogs are the best thing that can happen to a person in this world ( except maybe having a baby) and they will depend on you for everything, Shelter, Food, Companionship, Love, Medical attention and protection from open gates and the dangerous things of the world. My best wishes go to you in this endeavor. Now, go and make the right decision. Take care, and get a name tag for him BEFORE you pick him up for the first time! Puppies are easy to lose and that would be a very sad day indeed. Best wishes from socalgal to you!

A mutt.
A mutt with bad joints if they're not tested for hip/elbow dysplasia.
A mutt with a short lifespan as extra large dogs don't lve more than 7-10 years.
A mutt that is loving.
A mutt that will be HUGE.
A mutt that will shed a whole lot.

Please don't cross these breeds together. There are just too many homeless mutts in our shelters. If you want a mutt, please go and adopt a homeless one at a local shelter.

A massive drooling (and I mean the thick stuff that has a life of its own), crazy shedder, that will eat you out of house and home ... that will be prone to bloat, cost a fortune to keep in vaccinations and worming tablets and flea control, probably also be prone to hip dysplasia, might not live past 10 ... loveable mutt!!

I would call it a great great danese??

I love big dogs. :)
