Has he seen a vet recently? Chances are he's eating something that disagrees with him. He may be sensitive to something in his food or something he's getting hold of accidentally. Dogs may eat poop, plants, other pets' food, grass, etc. and any of it could cause gas. Check with his vet first, then maybe consider a different type of food and maybe one designed to be simple such as California Naturals. Cut out any people food or treats he may be getting, too, at least until you figure out what he's sensitive to. You can easily make your own dog treats so you know exactly what's in them: I make biscuits adapted from a simple drop oatmeal cookie recipe, omitting the sugar and adding canned pumpkin and cooked ground meat (beef, turkey or chicken). Store these in the fridge or freezer, as they may spoil since they don't contain preservatives. They are also better for him than commercial treats as they're made without chemicals and with healthful ingredients. Good luck!

I don't know how to get your dog to stop farting completely. I have 3 dogs myself and I know how they can get!
Making sure to feed them a high quality dog food has helped us a lot!

I'd switch his food. Gradually of course, but chances are you have him on a poor quality diet. And excessive gas can be dangerous as he could, worst scenario, bloat. My advice would be to find a good quality diet, and change - but do switch gradually, mixing the old with the new or you will run into tummy trouble.

I don't know how to get them to stop, but I can see why you'd want to. I live with two dogs, and when their owner's out of town, they hang out with me and seem to have an endless gas supply. I have deodorizing spray cans up here to combat the attack!
I guess you should look at their diet - if you're feeding them anything from the table, stop now. Ask your vet.

Science Diet dog food. You have to get it at the Vet's. And no table scraps. A good diet should help. For your sake!

They have Beano for dog....I think it might be called something different, but it is the same as it is for people. Knock yourself out.
For dogs they are called "Curtail" drops....same thing as Beano.
