I talk to my cat and she talks back...sometimes....It feels like she understands....:)

I always talk to my pets. They always seem to undersatand and sometimes my dogs talk back. You can always tell them things and know they will never tell anyone!!

Absolutely. And in the same way I speak to any other human. Not only do they understand (four languages, to be exact, of which two fluently) but they speak as well, and I listen. It's not always verbal, sometimes only body language, sometimes it's "something else entirely" that if you're willing to tune into is most definitely there, but they communicate. While you're teaching your dog human, be sure to learn dog. It's a great language.

I have two dogs and I talk to both of them. I swear the older one talks back, not in words but in sounds. I think the more you talk to your dog the more they understand. People tend to underestimate how smart dogs really are. My dogs understand more words and commands than some people I've met!

I talk to my cats sometimes but I mostly talk to my dogs. Its really cute because one of my dogs tilts his head to the side and looks at me like he's trying to figure out what I'm saying. I act like their people...its really cute to see what they do when I talk to them

yes, when I read a book I will read out loud to my dog. She may not know what I'm saying but it seems to soothe her. She also looks at me if I say a word she knows, such as bye, out, goodies, food and others. She goes to sleep but probably not from the reading just because it is naptime.

i usually talkto my pets and i think the understand me clearly because they respond in some way. My dog is not the sharpest tool in the shed but when I talk to her she looks at me puzzled.I dont know why because my cat doesnt do that......hhhmmm......strange..........oh well..............g2g

that's good, Imean you get to tell them how you feel but they don't talk to you back but maybe they understand you. (I do that sometimes, so ur not the only one)

I do it all the time!!! It just always makes my guinea pig happire and happier!! And yes, she always talks back.
