our dog ate something, not sure what, and it is causing his liver and pancreas to fail, he may die, he may not, they have him on IV and antibiotics. Has anyone gone through this with a dog before? What happened?

I very recently had to move along with my beloved 5 year old female cat.... not only does she have the standard moving anxiety where she hides for a day or two, but I've moved into a home with a friend that also has a cat - a 9 year old male cat. Luckily, both cats are declawed and have been fixed, so no worries there, but I didn't get to "ease" them into this. Does anyone have any advice on any way to make these new living arrangements any easier on the cats? Both are quite spoiled and are not use to other cats (dogs - yes, cats - no). The other problem is that both myself and my friend work pretty long hours and at the same time, so there's no one there to "mediate" the situation.

my kitty had feline acne on her chin-
when i took her into the vet for her check-up- he suggested Dermalogica Ant-Bac cleanser.
Keep in mind that this bottle goes for like $18, i think. i followed the directions (wet the area, lather cleanser in my hand, then i washed the area (with a cotton ball) with the cleanser and then rinsed it. i did this every night for one week. Acne is gone! and has not returned!this was about 2mo ago.
and whatever you have left over- use it! it is a GREAT cleanser.
just some helpful info.

We tie my one year old dog on the back yard when the weather is nice, but he always finds a way to get loose, either he breaks the collar, or the just opens the leash clip thing. Any advice?

I have a 3 year old male cat. He is fixed, but he pees (sprays) on everything and you can't get rid of that smell! How do I stop him. He does it on anything left on the floor (backpacks, papers, etc.), furniture, the Christmas tree!! I love him and don't want to get rid of him. Can this be fixed?

He acts "crazy" with everyone else except me. By crazy I mean he barks and jumps at all passing cars and motorcycles and if let out of the yard he chases them almost getting killed regularly. Also when out of the yard he fights (sometimes bloody and serious against bigger or even groups of dogs) with any dog(s) that invades "his turf" (which is about half of the block we live on). He fights against walking outside of the yard on a leash and absolutely refuses (he lies on his back squealing while I pull his chocker leash)to leave his turf. With me he is very friendly and jumps up in the air to greet me waiting for me to put out my hands to support his 2 front legs. When in that position sometimes he puts my hand in his mouth but never bites at it. He's my first dog and he shows me so much affection, is a great watchdog, obeys most of my commands and will always let me hold him or restrain him if I choose to. Any of you specialists have any thoughts? Thank you.

Hey you want to hear a sweet story? Just the other day I was feeling really lonely and I looked my cat right in the eyes and said "I'm so lonely" and there were tears in my eyes. She looked at me like she was an ancient woman spirit and jumped in my lap and started purrling hella loudly. Then she looked right thru me like she she could see the inside of my soul.

She knew exactly what I said, it's like she understood the simplicity of my emotion perfectly. Why can't more humans be that way? =(

My 5 month old puppy, (Mini Schnauzer-Terrier mix,) is bored at home! He has lots of toys: soft squeaky toys, nylabones, edible nylabones, a rope, cow hooves.. But he still seems bored. We try to play fetch with him but he gets bored with that really easily and just lies down on the couch or at our feet. We pet him all the time and cuddle, take him out several times a day and run around outside. He stays in his crate during the day while we are at work but we come home during lunch to take him out and play with him. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated! I don't know what else we can do!

I recently adopted a 9mth old toy poodle. The previous owners said she was potty trained to go to the door and house broken not to chew up things. He lied. All she wants is to sit on the sofa next to me and sleeps all day.If I don't let her she potties somewhere. When I try to get her to go outside to potty , she won't ,and as soon as I let her in she potties on the carpet. If I don't let her on my bed she leaves me a present. If leave her alone she leaves me present and chews up something. I feel like she does it for spite. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

This strange behavior doesn't happen all day, but it's been happening for the last couple of days. He just floats (belly-down) on the bottom with his face stuck in the ground. He seems healthy otherwise. He eats, swims normally, and responds to a mirror. Should I be worried?
