I work at a pet shop, and I do not reccomend giving your dogs milk, because for one it will give them diarrhea, and two they don't digest it properly. I would reccomend giving you dogs vitamins, and stuff like that. Most times the product you are buying will say if it's a good source of nuitrition.

As the others said no.
If you don't have a good water source, give them bottled water with whatever else you feed them.
IF you are talking about tiny puppies then get the special puppy formula to feed them.
Depending on the ages, even table scraps are better for them.
In dogs (& cats) it usually will cause very loose stools, upset stomach, and gas.
The reason is that it is VERY rich in dairy and most dogs (& cats) can not take it.
The exception is when they went from weaned directly to it. But it still isn't good for them.

You are thinking of condensed milk, different than evaporated milk. This should only be given as a substitute for Mothers milk for puppies or weaning puppies, if no other alternative. it can also be given to a lactating Female, but puppy food would be better for 'mum', any milk to a normal, healthy, older dog is not recommended. If you are talking about pups, then get puppy formula. If you mean adult dogs, forget milk!.

Some people use canned milk mixed with water and egg yolk, pinch of salt and bit of Karo for a formula, supplement to bottle feed with if they can't afford the more expensive puppy formula from the store. Usually 2 parts water to one part canned milk. But if your puppy is old enough to eat on his own, it's best to feed it puppy food or the appropriate dog food for age, size etc.
Some Pits and Rotti's have problems with allergies and it helps to feed a food that has an irregular meat source like Venison. Also avoiding wheat. There are lots of good products to choose from. You didn't mention the age of your dog or if your dog was having any problems. If you were thinking adding milk to his diet would be good, it isn't.
Products like plain yogurt and cottage cheese are healthy things to add to his food. Also, on occasion I add a few spoonfuls of Pumpkin Pie Filling, not spiced to my dogs food. Especially if she gets a little loose from picking up something in the yard.

If you dog is a puppy you should be feeding him/her a large breed puppy food. this important becuase the large breed puppy food has lower protien it not to promote growth. In large breed dogs bones and joints grow at different rates. Large breed dogs tend to have more joint problems than smaller breeds. So you must must let the dog grow at it's own pace and not provide to much protien and nutrients it does not need.
If you dog is a adult(over one year of age) than an adult large breed formula would be best. The adult food had glousclaine and chorldrain(dang cant spell) in it. That is a an added to the food to protect there bones and joints
If you dog is over 5 years of age than a senior large breed fomula would be good!

No. Dogs are lactose intolerant. If you want to give them a boost other than regular food you should use vitamins. Plain yogurt occasionally is ok.

No cow milk should be fed to any size, breed dog...most dogs are lactose intolerant and can have severe digestive reactions to it.
