We have no intention of buying without vet check or approval from daughters riding coach. Each time, though, is costs 350 for vet check and the coach's time as well.

That cross would traditionally do well as a hunter or jumper. Without seeing a current photo I can't comment on his physique, beyond that he looked fine as a yearling :) If you like him, and his personality fits with you, I'd say go for it. Best of luck, greys are my favorite ;)

Well he looks like he would make a great hunter jumper from the picture. As far as I can tell, his conformation looks good. That's about all I can say from just one picture. Ultimately, the decision is yours. Only you can decide whether or not you and the horse make a good match. I would suggest consulting a local hunter jumper trainer to evaluate this horse. Good luck!

i could take the unfastened lease settlement and attempt it out. It takes weeks and often even months to truly decide a horse. i think of it particularly is spectacular you have the choice to lease for unfastened previously procuring. there became something unsettling approximately his trot in the image. I want i ought to view him stay. it could have been the digicam perspective, shadows or something. hear, i think of that he would have the flair to be a physically powerful novices horse. Percheron mixes are mushy lots of the time. Being a heavy horse by making use of nature it particularly is complicated for them to be triumphant at going over severe jumps. this would particularly harm their legs and backs. He does look extra on the heavy part than the thoroughbred part (physique sensible). He must be used for easy leaping and later used as a excitement horse. good luck and Take Care

$4500 is a lot of money for a very young very green horse.
I can buy thoroughbreds or crosses here about $1000 for a 2-6 year old with some training already on them.
His sire is a nice dressage horse. He is a pretty color but NEVER buy a horse on color.
In my book to much money for such a young untried untrained untested horse.

I would not do anything until those pics of him come because to me he looks a little thin, don't you think so? His sire is a beautiful horse. Good luck with everything!

I think you should be working with him and seeing what kind of mind he has, not going by the looks which is the WORST way to buy a horse so internet pictures and responses from people here are not going to help

He's nice looking but you really need to find out if he has any bad habits and mostly if he's healthy and sound. Before I would pay anything I would arrange for your vet to give him a checkup just incase theres something that you might miss.

i think that price is a little high for such a young inexperienced horse, unless it has really great bloodlines. its good to get them young, but i would try to negotiate the price.... alot. he is good looking, and you probabbly really like him, but take your time and look at a couple more, just to get an idea, and if you you still think hes the one for you then go for it.

It doesnt matter about the looks of the horse but if he does what your looking for, like if you want him for riding will he be a good rider? or pulling exc. If you have smaller kids around you should make sure he is good around them.

from the looks of his sire, she seems to do more dressage work. it all basically depends on how he looks like when he jumps. he is a gorgeous color though
