My parents said that if i earn up the money for a horse its self(or half depending on the price) i could buy one and they would pay for the boarding, tack, ect... Anyway i have the choice of 6 of my favorite breeds... They are Gypsy Vanner, Rocky Mountain Horse, PMU rescue horse(are they their own breed?), appoloosa, arabian, or paint. What one should i pick?

I have just had a new horse and he is very green asa his past owners had very little time for him. he has a beautiful temprement and i know he can go far, however i am having touble with getting him to listen to me. He gets distracted really easily and as he is still only 4 (a baby in my eyes...lol) i need a very gentil and possitive approach. i love him to bits and i want him to be as calm and happy as possible, not only that i want us to both have fun learning. I have had some very dull moments with past horses were you never seem to progress blah blah blah... however my horse has potential and i would be very greatful for some of u awsum guys to give me some advise! Thank you... much loves xxxx

I bought a 6 year old Shih Tzu female from an irresponsible breeder. When I picked her up, she was a little under weight and mopey. The lady didn't really want to sell her then because she believed that she was likely pregnant since she was swollen and rejecting males.

I have never done this before but I am learning everything I can as fast as I can. She has had her shots, been dewormed (by me courtesy of the vet) and is doing well. But... the one thing I can't seem to find is how long from conception before they start rejecting all males?

I've had her for almost 7 weeks and I'm trying to pinpoint a more accurate date. I'm off to buy a rectal thermometer today. The veins in her abdomen are getting very noticeable and I can distinctly feel approximately 4 different pups "kicking" and rolling. I also have my vets after hour number and a whelping area, supplies, and help arranged.

I heard from someone elses question that weird purring can lead to cancer. I also feel a lot of oddly shaped bumps on her side as well when I pet her. She hasn't had any shots or anything since we found her a stray. Is it possible she could have cancer? (I know for a fact she doesnt have rabies though)

I have a peach faced lovebird and it is very lonely and I was wandering if you could put them in the cage together.. cuz I was going to go out and buy a parakeet and put them together and if you can't then I have two cages so I can separate them if needed..

Do you health test your sire & dam?
Do you have the money to pay for an emergency c-section?
Do you have the energy to feed infants every two hours all through the night for weeks if your dam dies?
Do you screen your potential puppy owners?
Do you offer to take the puppy back if it "doesn't work out?"
Do you really care how much money you get vs. finding good homes?
Do you require a spay or neuter (limited registration) for pet quality pups?
Do you breed your dog every cycle or its first heat cycle?
Do you vaccinate the pups?
If you can answer these questions favorably and honestly, keep breeding as you are an assest and someone who obviously loves and cares for what you are doing.

My puppy (nine weeks) needs three booster shots, one month apart, which I am definintly keeping on, but I wonder how often after that is it really needed?
Some people tell me it will get too toxic if a dog or a cat recieves their shots every single year, so they get it done every 2 years instead.
My dog is, of course, going to be an outdoor dog, so I'm thinking that it would be best that he have his yearly shot.
What do you think?
