My cat recently had kittens, two have both eyes open completely, the third has only one eye open, the other is still shut. Is this normal? They are 12 days old.

If I cover my mouth she tries going up my nose or into my eyes (with her nose). This goes on for the most of the night. We tried closing our door but she just meows at the door and tries with all her might to get the door open. We play with her all evening trying to tire her out. But it doesn't work. I even tried putting her outside (during the day) but she just meows to be let in after 5 minutes.

My mother had a 6-month-old choc. Lab puppy that she could not care for anymore due to my dad’s health. I have adopted the puppy now; I had to put down my boxer puppy a few weeks ago and decided to take this puppy
I have never owned a Lab and know nothing about them...He is very smart, housebroken, and very laid back, almost seems lazy...I have stairs up to my house he will go down them, but will not attempt to come up. He will fetch, but he will walk not run to whatever I have thrown. He has had a vet check up and all shot, very healthy. I had always heard Labs will chew on everything, we have never seen this in him.
Can someone give me advice or information on labs? Tips?? Anything will help.

Well first off, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. God Bless.
My question is I have a cat, 2 cats and well the first one was aggressive towards my dad last week and now he's a bit calmer, when he sees my dad he doesn't start making any noise, i just reintroduced them today, (a week ago he attacked him) the cat goes up to my dad and starts circling around him and starts making noise, and his hairs stand up on his back and on his tail, he didn't attack him, I told my dad to exit the room immediately. are we making progress? will the cat eventually accept him again? or will he always stay this way? also, i have my other cat, who's much smaller, who started following me around today like usual except he started making noises just like the other cat did to my dad and keeps his eyes on my feet and legs, i sprinkled some water on him, i know cats do this cause im a cat lover but why make those growling noises? what can i do?

Hi, this question is really for the horse trainer or expert. Please no stupid or mean answers.

I am getting a blind horse, I went to meet him and everything went good. He was well mannered, well just a little ansty since it was supper time. But he let me touch him all over and the girl (12 yrs old) picked up his feet and like I said was really good.

My question is, is there any way to introduce him to his new surroundings and training with the least bit of trouble on my part and the least amount of stress on his? He is broke, but needs another horse to lead for him to feel comfortable, you can also ride him with someone leading him and he does fine.

My goal is to get him to be able to get him to the point where he trusts me enough and will go on the trails and everything without guidance from an additional horse or human.

I am not really training savvy but I am willing to give it a shot and I think I will be successful.
Please no one say get a trainer.

I have been self training my draft mare in dressage for the past 5 yrs, with a little help from instructors when I can afford lessons. Anyways, we are schooling 1st level, and I have her going forward with her shoulder and back up finally. My problem is that now we get stuck in circles. At 2 points, every time we circle at the trot, her head flies up and her roundness gets shot. She does not have the problem at a walk or canter.
She can go through those two points at a shoulder in, but not in a straight curve withouth jaming her head up. I also have tried just moving her in or out of the circle at that point to no avail. It is also just going to the left, which is her bad side.
Any suggestions on how to fix it?

I have a 6 yr old Morgan Quarter horse cross that is a bit fast at the canter. her previous owner was weird and didn't let her actually be a real horse, so she dosn't know much about her legs just yet. but all i need is help on how to slow her down and keep her relaxed and calm as i am cantering her, her problem is that she gets so frusterated with herself cause she dosn't know what to do, and she gets mad and bucks and kicks out, but i have done all i can think of to calm her and to keep her quite can anyone help..

My cat won't go in her litterbox for anything(pee or poop) and I can't figure out why.
I rescued her in July of this year(2006)..she had been outside for approx.4-6mths. After approx 2wks after I rescued her she would go in the litterbox all the time and then in mid-August she had a litter of kittens that were all in new homes at the end of September.

For the last 3.5wks shes refused to go in the box. I have 2 boxes for her to use but shes not using either of them.
I got told that she might have went 'dirty' and might never go in a litterbox ever again.
Ive got her confined to the kitchen area because Ive got carpeting in my house, but I hate confining her because its not good for her.
She goes anywhere she wants in my house if I don't confine her!

What can I do? Please give me some advice
