Well most goldfish are not the smartest fish.Sorry. But, unless you have a more intelligent fish like a Oscar(Which i have.) Nothing will change much.
Unless its a more intelligent i would get new plants and junk to throw in the tank to see how the fish reacts over the weeks!

I think so.Sometimes i imagine myself swimming in that same bowl everyday and I think its really boring so I have a fish tank.

goldfish don't get bored because their brain is so small they only remember for a nano second, so every swim around the bowl is a whole new adventure to them

mine was in a bath tub in the back yard with toys plants etc & sunshine etc
little bowls are cruel I think
same as tiny bird cages

A goldfish's memory is so short that by the time he gets turned around he has forgotten where he has came from and it's a brand new goldfish bold ..... LOL

i think it's kind of like the same thing as people driving to and working everyday...you gotta do it to live. But I would put little nifty castles and special plastic plants to make life more of a joy.... :P

try putting another fish in their. or put little things like little water castes and other things that they can swim around.
p.s. nextime its easyeir to ask the petstore with fish da their the experts.
