I've been giving her amoxicillin for two days now but dosen't seem to be working. What else can I do to her help her breath. Can I use Vapor rub? Please help I hate to see her like this.

I have tried to brush. I have cut it off. It just keeps getting matted again. I think it's all because he is just old. He has lost a tooth. Doesn't eat hard food or should I say can't eat hard food so we feed him wet mixed with small hard. He is eating well but is also loosing wieght. He seems ok. Not sick but I've heard that matted fur is a sign your pet isn't well? Any suggestions? Don't say vet. I already know that. That's the last resort. They may just say he's sick and put him down 'cause he's old anyways. How can I get my cat unmatted and gaining wieght?

my kitten has had the squits since i got him, hes been to the vets and has been starved and put on dietry food, hes had his first lot of jabs (he cant have his 2nd lot till hes better) and has been wormed, ive given the vet a poo sample, wot will they be checking for...?

my dog got sick and i dont know what it is she
breathing funny like really loud
gagging and throwing up in her mouth
shes not eating good
she walks around like some ones going to hit her and i dont hit her
and it seems her neck hurts like she wont move it quickly like dogs do when ther wet or something
about 2 weeks ago ther 2 ticks on her neck but we got them off and thers still a red mark on her from where they were
shes shivering
she wont run to me when i call her
or lick me
and she's always lip smacking

when i pull his head around on the mounting side to hold him when i mount he keeps swinging his hind end around and won;t stand is this defiance or misstep in his training , he was trained my someone other the me , she was a 100 mile endurabce rider.

Puppy came home last night (see Poisoned Puppy posts), but we still don't know what's up, will take a few days more before blood tests are back from Guelph (we live in Toronto). His personality is there but he is very tired, vet told us to keep him crated to make him rest, he's sleeping a lot, but eats although appetite is a bit less. He seems to have forgotten his housebreaking and something weird that I have to ask yo uall about: when we take him out to pee he squats down and just squats for a long time, only a few dribbles coming out, then takes two steps and does the same, again and again, moving a bit then squatting for a long time and almost nothing coming out. When hes in our apt however and pees on the floor there he lets it all out. Any insight? As soon as we get blood test results I will update here. Thanks to you all for your support and knowledge. ALSO - any thoughts on pet insurance, best provider in GTA?

Well when we first found this kitty, we never thought about keeping her. We gave her some milk and food because she looked really sick and looked like she was dying, so we gave her some stuff and that was it. but she kept coming back and we decided to keep her. Now she's hooked on the milk and she won't drink water at all, even though you're suppose to give cats water. We tried weaning her off the milk by mixing half milk half water. She drank that for awhile, but would still not drink straight water. now she won't even drink the half water half milk a lot of the time. What can I do to get her to want to drink water?

For a couple of months now, my 10-year-old cat has been 'sulking,' for lack of a better word. She eats at 6 am, and later in the evening, and the rest of the day, she lies in my bed, not even necessarily sleeping.

I would think she was just being a normal lazy cat, but she's getting thin (she was always a heavier cat) and her fur looks like it's starting to clump, as if she's not taking care of it.

I don't know if she's just getting a little older, if she's upset, or if there's a serious problem.

Help is appreciated. =]

I have two staffie's 1X male 1X female, the male has a text book appearance, but the female looks very thin- the vets say that she's ok and in good health- can anyone relate to this or provide advice on what I can do to build her up?
I feed both dogs the same food (Bakers complete) + same portions
they both get the same amount of exercise.

I was thinking of getting a Betta and housing it in the 2 gallon wall hanging fish tank (Fish Bubbles by Next Wave) and was wondering how do I take it off the wall to clean it? Do I have to unscrew it and when done screw it back on? I'd have to do it once a week, would that ruin the wall?
