i would take to the vet if its sick but it may be lonely since you just got the puppy a couple days ago, cant u barrow money to go to the vet......your puppy might be dying, and yea that would be animal cruelty. does it seem like he's in pain? ask you friend if he/she was acting the same way. make him/she eat, maybe its weak from not eating for 3 days..even if he/she dosent want to. LUCK, hope the puppy gets better!! :o]

If your pet won't eat,you must force feed it if you expect it to live.Get some baby non-flavored pediolyte and force it down him as much as possible.Then boil some chicken,remove from bone and put in blender with some broath and puree it and force feed.The pup can't go without eating.Also give it a dab of honey ,or plain karo syrup to raise its sugar level.You will see an improvement after you do this for about 24 hours.If the pet isn't up to date on vac/deworming be sure to do this also after it starts eating.

have u brought him to a vet?hope he's ok.i how much it sux to lose a pet. i had a kitten a few years back with the same problem and i went to a pharmacy thats sells vetnary medical stuff n i got a formula for cats and dogs that are not eating.had to force feed him it for a couple of days and he came around.good luck

'since they gave him to you right '? , so i take it you have only had the dog 3 days then ?? Well, now the dog is in your hands and your responsibility so it really has nothing to do with them, take him to the vets now and get this sorted before he gets really ill luv
If you dont then that's basically animal cruelty !!

He could be depressed, which causes the lack of appetite....which then causes weakness. I'd consider consulting a vet on the matter.

take him to the vet, although also try tempting him with differnet foods, and force feeding him if necessary. how old is your dog? it may be that he is grieving his former owner. my grandad's dog did that after he moved to a house with a yard too small for the dog, the dog went to one owner who returned it because it was so sick, it got better and my grandad gave it to someone else, and it died there.

take him to the vet but he also could be lonely. my dog didn't really want to eat and was very loney the first week. give him lots of attention. good luck!

I understand you want to help this dog you are not evil !!! If you cant bring him to the spca than get a friend to do it for you your pup realy needs help do the rite thing.
