I have a round worm problem in my yard due to adopting a new siberian husky in September - he was a stray so not dewormed regularly. On a strict course of Quantel Dewormer for all pets in my household for next 6 weeks.

However, just realised my cat is pregnant (SHOCKER) have given her a half a tab before knowing - is Quantel safe for pregnant cats?? She must be approximately 5 wks along as that's the only time frame I can figure that she could have disappeared with her "boyfriend".

ANY KNOWLEDGE BE GREATLY APPRECIATED IN STOPPING ME FREAKING OUT! :)

He shakes his ears but not just only his ears, his whole body, kinda how they do after they have a bath, and he does it alot, i thought maybe he had ear mites because for a few days there he was shaking only his ears, but i've been giving him ear mite drops and he still shakes his entire body...does anyone know why that may be?

I think he's amazing, period. I know he has a lawsuit pending against him, but I think this nation is too litigious anyway. Everybody thinks somebody else is to blame when something goes wrong. What the naysayers don't understand is that Cesar Millan is NOT a dog trainer. He's a dog REHABILITATOR, and there's a huge difference. He doesn't teach methods of obedience training for normal, well-adjusted dogs. He trains owners on how to be a pack leader and he rehabilitates dogs with all kinds of problems ranging from minor anxiety to severe aggression. I can only guestimate the number of dogs' lives he saves every year because their owners would have otherwise given up on them and surrendered them to shelters where they would have either been killed or gone from home-to-home-to-home, never having their issues addressed. What do you think?

My partner and I are going to be getting a puppy that will be 8 weeks old when we get it and will have already had its first vaccination. We plan on getting a crate but leaving the door open, so it has somewhere to eat and go to the toilet but we were wondering is the puppy too young to be taken outside to try and begin toilet training. We do not have a garden but live right next to the beach, and for the first week or so were planning on taking it just outside of our house to encourage it to go to the toilet. Is this possible or should it be kept inside until it has its second vaccination, and if so when should we get this done?

Last night some friends and I were drinking and watching Jack A** the movie. Well, I swallowed a few live gold fish after drinking some beers and I think the fish are drunk in my stomach. They keep bumping into the sides of me and it is making me feel wierd. I could not sleep due to their movements. I have thought about trying to throw up and cannot bring myself to do it. How long will they keep this up?

Hi..just picked up my dalmatian puppy this morning. He is about 45 days old. Last in the litter to go. He was not very happy for the first few hours..crying and yelping. I though I was gonna have to take him back. He has since become very happy and chirpy. Thing is though, that changes if I am literally out of his sight. He start crying and yelping. I mean literally out of his line of sight. I read all the book and was told crate trainign was a good idea in the first few days. There is no way this boy is going in a crate tonight or being on his ownwithout raising hell. Will he go off to sleep so I can put him in his own space. At the moment I cannot see him sleeping except at my feet. Do I let him sleep with me or what else should I do. i do not mind short term but I really do not want a grown dog in my bed every night.

My husband and I have moved to a new city and have made friends with a couple our age who have two young boys. Our Boxers had puppies and they decided they wanted one. They've talked about the puppy for weeks and when they came to pick the puppy up, they didn't want to pay for it. I gave them a discount on the dog at $150 (I have a lot of money in my puppies with shots and health care, etc. and I believe I was right to ask for something from them if they wanted one of my dogs.) Anyway, they've had the dog for two weeks and have driven it all over the place. She left the dog in her car while she went into a store and the dog pooped and ruined her seats. Now she wants me to take the dog back and give her money back to her. I don't know what that dog has come into contact with and I don't want it around my healthy puppies. I told her I'd try to sell the dog for her but that I couldn't take it back. Now they're angry with us. Who was in the right?

isn't it time we got together and made our own network?
Our website now appears on yahoo's directory.
Why pay $200 a year more or less when people looking, can find what they want directly from us?
If you want to participate, provide a means of reaching you.
I can't do too many and prefer tto limit our usage to the US. Agreed?

The cat was spayed 1 month ago, and she is now starting to look like she could possibly be pregnant. Could it maybe just be weight gain from being spayed?

I have three cats that need liquid meds, but it is a real challenge. I tried to incorporate it in their food, but they always know it's there, and just don't eat it. We have tried holding them with a towel wrapped around thier body for our safety, but they usually manage to spit most of it out. I wonder if it would work if I got it on their feet and just let thier normal grooming instinct take over and let them lick it off. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
