When a cat is spayed she basically gets a hysterectomy. There should be no way for her to get pregnant if she was in fact spayed. Could be weight gain, could be a health problem, contact your vet and ask.

When a cat is spayed, her uterus and fallopian tubes are removed. If she had been pregnant at the time of spay, the kittens would have been aborted when the uterus was removed.
Often, you will see a fluid filled "blister" at the site of the spay incison. This is caused by fluid moving into the empty space where the uterus once was. This usually resolves in a few weeks.
If you have not increased the amount of food you are feeding your cat, and she is still active, you should not be seeing weight gain.
At the very least, I would get her weighed just to see where that compares to her weight at time of spay. Questions to answer would be whether or not she is acting normally, is her appetite the same, is her attitude the same. Does she look or act ill.
If you notice a change in any of the normal behaviors, it's definitely worth a call to your vet.

absolutely not. Spaying a cat removes all the reproductive organs inside of them. It may be that the cat has gained weight from the hormonal changes after the operation, or like my cat, (and her vet said this is normal) she has developed a stomach pouch because the organs are no longer there, so the skin doesn't stay tight. If you are overly concerned call the vet that did the procedure, and ask what s/he thinks. There may also be swelling, or hemorrhaging from a complication from the surgery. In all honesty, the best bet you have is to call your veterinarian, and ask their opinion! Good luck with your cat, they are such great companions.

confident, that's. i prefer to propose spaying a cat earlier they get pregnant, in spite of in the event that they're already in warmth. yet i do no longer propose aborting fetuses, it relatively is too late then, and you're responsibe for locating those cats residences and struggling with each and every of the undesirable kittens by utilising spaying the adverse cat sooner or later. i'd desire to ascertain why somebody would propose it, because of the fact those kittens are possibly going to be pts later besides because of the fact there are way too many, and having kittens shortens the lifespan of a cat. the nice and comfortable button is to get a rather good variety of those uncaring, irresponsible human beings to restoration their cat earlier this will become a controversy. Animals are not toys.

When the female cat is spayed the ovaries, tubes and uterus are removed so there are no organs in her body to support a pregnancy.
She has probably become less active as she is maturing. Watch her food intake to see if she is getting too much. If you are feeding a grocery store food that is 2/3 she will definitely get porky.

No, she can't get pregnant. The 'factory' has been removed.
She's just packing on the pounds. It's normal.
