I have a round worm problem in my yard due to adopting a new siberian husky in September - he was a stray so not dewormed regularly. On a strict course of Quantel Dewormer for all pets in my household for next 6 weeks.

However, just realised my cat is pregnant (SHOCKER) have given her a half a tab before knowing - is Quantel safe for pregnant cats?? She must be approximately 5 wks along as that's the only time frame I can figure that she could have disappeared with her "boyfriend".

ANY KNOWLEDGE BE GREATLY APPRECIATED IN STOPPING ME FREAKING OUT! :)

Contact your vet and see what they say. I don't have a cat but if you have any concerns they should be able to tell you and if there is they'll have you bring in the cat to pump her stomach (or something like that). Good luck!
