Let dog out 6am, came home <1 hr later, completely covered in mud.Then noticed he was bleeding from multiple small, deep wounds on back, rear, & hind legs. Although serious, I felt the injuries were not life-threatening as he was breathing normally, etc.Laid down & refused to get up. Weighed 85 lbs & couldn't carry by myself. Cleaned some of the mud off but did not clean the possibly 20 or so separate punctures. Wounds went thru the flesh & not bleeding alot. He drank a little water & got up to urinate that evening. I got him to vet at 8:45 am next day. He was sick that morning & had a rapidly-worsening odor. Stank. Vet said infection indicated he must have been injured 5-7 days before but not possible! Widespread & irreparable tissue damage, recommended putting him to sleep. Vet felt likely animal attack but did not look like bite marks to me.Maybe lead poisoning from shotgun blast?Other dog found dead last month in woods after missing 2 days,muddy, same marks over same part of body

He's always licking her ears, wrinkles, feet, and other places that I can't mention. I've heard of dogs licking themselves but man, my dog is obsessed! how do I make him stop, he's always gagging afterward, and the sound of him licking her grosses me out!

i have a abt 12 blood Parrot in my 5 foot tank...with good filtrating system...but my tank water get yellowish within 1 week after i change to fresh water. why is this so??/ how to keep the water clear always??? Any tips???

I have not gotten a full nights sleep since I was away from my fat cat (I love her to death realy) for a week 3 months ago. She wakes me up a few times each night by sticking her paw in my face until I get up to feed her. I don't feed her too much, I give her IAMS weight control. 1/4 C. at 6 am, 1/8 C. at lunch, 1/4C. at 6pm, 1/8 C. at 12am, 1/8 C. at 4am. She weighs 12ish lbs. But I dont think I feed her too much because as I said its WEIGHT CONTROL, but i'd just like to get some sleep.

My kitten is 7 weeks old and is toilet trained. as I work I leave her at 7:30am in the morning and get back at 5:45pm Mon-Fri. Is this alright???? I left her for the first time yesterday and I dont know if it affected her but she was really happy to see me when I got home. will she get use to this ?? I dont want to give her away

Her eyes are both watery and one eyes tearduct is kinda swollen, sometimes it looks really swollen and then other times it looks somewhat fine. I just moved to a new state and into a new home, do you think its allergies or something, I heard maybe cherry eye but her eye doesnt look as bad as the pictures do. i MIGHT have to sell my guinea pigs because they are realy smelly and we dont have that much time to take care of them both and i MIGHT get a rat instead. is that mean? i will be able to take care of the rat better cuz it will be cleaner. what do u think? and realy, is it mean, cuz i think it kind of is and my first guinea pig was bought from these people and now he might have to go to another home so he will be sold 3 times. wat do i do?!?!?! :`(

I have had a 15 gallon fish tank for a lil over 6 months. I had it set up and added all the regular stuff you would add when setting up a new tank except fish. Well, I finally decided to get some fish and petsmart sold me the above amount saying that this would be max capacity. I now wonder if I may have overdid it. I am having a heck of a time with ammonia levels and cannot get them to a normal level. I am having to do partial water changes every two days and the levels still do not drop down past 3.0. I am using API test strips. I have the marineland bio wheel filter. I began using ProQuatics bacteria starter and water conditioner and proper ph 7. I then switched to Wardleys 3 in 1 water conditioner for 7.0 ph, ammonia neutralizer, and chlorine/chloramine eliminator. Another store told me to switch to aquasafe and ph up and use ammo chips, but I have read that Ammo chips keep bacteria from growing. My nitrates and nitrites are perfect according to Medley 5 in 1 strips. HELP

my cat, Fluffy, is getting on my last nerve. every time i come home, there is a new suprise waiting for me in a different place. every time i discover one, i immedietly take her and rub her paws in the litter box. we clean the box regularly, and it's not the fact that we moved, cause she did it in our old house also. this is making me angry............

He just couldn't ever get the hang of being house broken! What would you do in this situation? Let him go all over your house? Get rid of him? Or keep him, give him lots of love and a warm safe home to live? I chose to be loyale and keep my commitment to him.I take the best care of him as possible if I didn't care I wouldn't be on here trying to keep him as warm as possible.

we have a white goldfish with a big red blob-brain-looking thing on its head. the fish is like 2 years old. now the red blob is turning white and shrinking? is this normal? we also have two black fish with eyes that pop out of their heads. they are turning orange from the belly up. is there something wrong with them or is it natural?

Surroundings: pebbles

my male betta fish's back fin seems to b eaten up, wat exactely is this supposed 2 b??? I give him food on time & he is a single fish in the bowl, there r no sharp objects in d bowl either.........................................wat cld b d matter?? do provide some remedies as well.
