I have a problem, i live with my bf of 3yrs and we recently got two beagle puppies. The problem is he loves them and i hate them! They chew up everything, are not pottie trained, and just stink. It would make our lives so much easier and we would fight less if i didn't hate them so much. Any ideas on how i can not be so disgusted by them?

My cats have this wonderful soft cuddly pet bed to sleep on. They have not spent 2 minutes on it since we got it (last year). They would rather sleep on the bare floor sometimes right next to it. One sleeps on top of the microwave. Are they weird?

I rescued a stray kitten last week and took him to the vet to be examined & receive his first set of shots (he was about 8 weeks old). They told me he didn't have enough bulk to give him a FeLV/FIV test at that time & to bring him back later in the month. They also said I should bring him back in before that for additional shots. He had gained weight over the past week, so I took him back in today to see if he could get the test & also if there were any other shots he could get now that he's bulkier (9weeks). They reviewed the paperwork from last week, gave him a 4-in-1 vaccination & took blood for the FeLV/FIV test. The vet warned me that he's too young for it to be completely accurate, so I should retest him at 16 weeks & vaccinate my current cat for FeLV as a precaution (I did that today). When I returned home and reviewed my kitten's paperwork, I saw that he received a 4-in-1 and dewormer last week and again today! Isn't that too soon? I'm not sure what I need to do from this point

It is 5 months old and we thought she was a girl so we named her a girls name. Now we're not sure because she chirps a lot and it looks like her cheeks are getting more and more red. Should we name her a boy name, girl name, or a boy and girl name?

My puppy will run like a crackhead back and forth in the hallway about 50 times before stopping, bringing me a toy, then do the whole thing over again, lol, why does he do it? He doesn't get outside much, and I know he needs to, but it's been super cold out, and he gets sick easily.

Ever since we got him at 7 weeks, he has slept with us in our bed. Well, last night he was WAY too hyper and biting and playing non stop, so we kicked him out and made him sleep in the living room on the couch. He didn't whine much, just a little. BUT, this morning when I opened our bedroom door, there was a nice big stinky present left, right outside our bedroom door. And as I'm cleaning it up, I keep saying "bad bad boy!" and point at him, well you could tell he knew he was in trouble because his tail was between his legs and he was peeking around the cornerall hunkered down on the floor, (but I SWEAR he was smiling, lol). Did he do this because he was angry with us or what?

I have a 2yo male Rotty, 145 pounds of great and sweet. He is fully registered with the AKC. My neighbor has 3 female Great Danes and when they go by, my dog gets this look on his face, ( must be the long legs ). I want to place an ad in the paper offering him for stud, ( does that make me his pimp? ) What is the usual fee?

For Christmas I am buying my older daughters a puppy and a kitten. I know alot about cats, but not alot about dogs, What is a small breed/type dog that is good with children and that will grow up well with a kitten? I want both so they can keep each other company when no one is home. Also, suggestions as to where to buy, is it better to go pet shop? Adoption is tough as I havent been able to find smaller breeds at the humane society. Thanks

She's a two-year old golden retriever/collie mix, and she's pretty bad as far as massive destruction, but she never potties on the floor, never. Well, suddenly she's constantly having to go out and she peed on the floor last night, very unusual for her. She's running and playing, so she must not be hurting. Could she have a urinal tract infection? The vet only comes to our town Monday thru Thursday, so I can't take her until Monday. Any advice for how to get her thru the weekend till she can see the vet?

My new puppy loves to rip up and eat our linoleum floor when we're at work and also likes to chew on furniture. Is there anything homemade I can do to stop this? Thx!

Is it true that healthy dogs have cold, wet noses-- and that warm, dry noses are a sign of illness? Or is this just an old wives' tale?

I am going over saturday night to pet sit a dog and staying there overnight and from sunday till 2/3pm. Is it ok to leave my bunny at home in her cage with food and water? She is a dwarf bunny, a few months old. I usually let her out of her cage plenty during the day.
