It's instinct. In the wild, they turn many circles to kind of smash the grass down and give them somewhere to lay.

It's kind of like fluffing your pillow or straightening your blankets out. It's a way for them to find a nice cozy spot to lie in. One of my dogs used to "dig" a little nest for himself in his bed. He'd literally scratch at it until the stuffing of the bed surrounded him. One of them does the circling thing before she lies down, and the other one doesn't really care as long as she's within snuggling range. It doesn't matter what she snuggles with (me or a stuffed toy), as long as there's something close for her to snuggle with. =)

It's just a routine and assessing the space before she lies down. It is not abnormal.
It's a little bit like puffing the pillows before going to bed.

Most dogs do that-- I'm not really sure why, but it's likely related to the instinct to make a "nest" to lie down in.

whilst canines have been wild, they could circle to confirm the area grew to become into clean of predators like snakes and of pests like bugs previously laying down. They nonetheless do this now whether there indoors.

They do that because, they are getting their bed comfortable before they go 2 sleep.

Maybe they want the bed to get warm? Or because they want everyone to know that "this is where I'm sleeping!" Hope this helps!

I think it's cute. One of my dogs does that when she is going to lay down and also when she has to poop.
