Okay, this is just a suggestion. My late husband had a yorkie, and her name was "Scooter." She was the only dog I'd ever known with that name, and she was a Gem! Then after my husband & scooter died, I met a lady with a "male" dog named Scooter! Same breed...a Yorkie! And both of these dogs had no problem coming to their master when they were called, so evidently, it's a pretty good name. Or, you might try Yappy for a boy, and Gabby if it's a girl. Either way, good luck.

Wait a week before you name your dog. His or her personality may really help you decide on the perfect name. Keep it to more more than two syllables though, that will help the dog know its name.
