Russian Hamsters are solitary animals. They run risk of fighting and possibly injuring other small animals. Rabbits could harm and even kill a hamster, if they feel threatened, due to the size difference.
If you are wanting to get a friend for your rabbit, I'd suggest another rabbit, or a guinea pig.

No!! Rabbits and hamsters should never be together. Rabbits could not see the hamsters and step on it possibly killing the hamster. Hamsters tend to fight. Rabbits are stronger than them and could push one up against the side of the cage possibly breaking every bone in its body. Rabbits should never be in the same cage as a guinea pig because of this. I would reccomend getting another rabbit for a playmate but unless you want babies I'd advise you to make sure its the same sex.

Hamsters prefer to live on their own with its own cage own food own bed. Rabbits like rabbit company and will probably even kill the hamster. Do not mix hamsters will other pets they do not get on! Do not think that your pets will be different becuase sorry they dont :(
