When we first got him we tried bathing him 2 times but both of the experiences were frightful. (Lets just say there was blood.) We have had him for 2 years now and we haven't tried bathing him since because we're scared to. Is this ok?

I have a friend who can't speak english and im asking this question for her. She has a 4 month old pug that is having trouble with breathing. The puppy is breathing through his mouth and makes a hahaha sound. The puppy's tongue turned blue this morning but its back to normal now. The puppy hasn't sleep at all the whole day and wont lie down. he can only sit or stand. She check the inside of his nose and it seems to be closed off. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is this serious? She did take the puppy to the vet but the vet just gave the puppy a shot and sent the puppy home and told her not to get the puppy excited. Her puppy has never left the house cause he isnt vaccinated yet. He leaves only for going to the vet and he is carried and never allowed to walk, stand or sit anywhere except on her lap. the puppy seems like he wont make it through the night. is there anything else she can do? btw, she lives in a 3rd world country so no 24hr vet or animal hospital services

My goldfish doesn't seem to have any physical illness, but has been very listless recently: half the time just floating around near the top, with its tail fins drooping down. It is eating ok and moves well enough when prompted, but when not disturbed barely moves.

I have been feeding her (although the other fish is eating most of the food), and have been cleaning the tank regularly, and have been putting in Aquasafe liquid to de-chlorinate it. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Is there something you can do or buy that makes things easier on a person that's allergic to cats when they come to your house? Other than getting rid of the cat.

I was sold two male rabbits by the petstore, however, one went on to become pregnant. She had her first litter 4 weeks ago and we had the male snipped by the vet. Even though we spperated them as soon as we found the litter, they must of found some time during the night of the first birth as she has just given birth to a second litter. Can both sets stay with the mother or do we move the 4 week old babies (3) to a new hutch ?. I think they should still be getting their mothers milk, but am scared they will bully the babies and steal all her milk. Please help !!
Thanks

December 2004 I adopted a Bichon Frise. They told me he was 5 years old at that time but the more I've paid attention to him, he definitely seems much older. He has missing teeth and poor skin with an immense body odor. No matter how often I bathe him, he still smells! The vet said not to wash him but once a month because I told him that I wanted to bathe him at least twice a month.

I'm very frustrated because he stinks up my house. I own other dogs and they don't smell at all.

I've tried for two years now and I'm just not happy about the adoption. I now view adopting pets as adopting other people's PROBLEMS!

What should I do about this dog? I want him out of my house and just want to purchase a puppy instead.

I had my male dog fixed about 3 years ago. The vet said after it was all finished that he wouldn't be mounting anything anymore.

We recently got a female puppy, who is fixed as well, and this male is always trying to mount her.

Do fixed dogs do this?

My ferret Kiki is a month older than Furet. They both always fight, and Kiki bites her in the neck. She's always fine and fights back, but sometimes the fights last a really long time. They are both 1 year old females, and I thought it was males who are agressive. Is this normal in ferrets?

Okay, I know basically what to do here. I took in a kitten for about 4 months and I guess she had a mild infestation because last night I noticed brownish fleas jumping on me and biting me. I gave away the kitten a couple weeks ago.. as far as getting rid of the fleas goes am I wrong in assuming that since I got rid of the kitten extermination will be easier? Do they need the cat in order to live? Should I still "bomb" the house with pestiside stuff? I was planning on just getting a new vaccum today and maybe some carpet powder... So basically Im saying whats the fastest way to get rid of these.... suckers. and will i still have a problem if I do bomb and vaccum..since I no longer have a cat? (or a dog..) IF I bomb am I going to have to wash everything afterwards? :( thanks.
