Hi, I have a 5 month old border collie who is having trouble house training!
When she is in her crate she will bark when she needs the toilet.
When shes outside she always goes in the right place (we trained her to go in the alley next to our house) and if the back door is open, she will go outside herself...however, if the back door is shut, she will make no attempt to bark, she will poo/pee in the house.

I don't understand why she does this, as when we find it, she runs to her bed, so she knows it is wrong, any suggestions???

I have a maltepoo, who is supposedly around 8 weeks old, I haven't taken it to the vet yet because we just got her yesterday night and will take it to the vet tomorrow, but can someone tell me a quick way to make sure of its gender?

I was at my mom's house with the back door opened. I saw a dog in the yard. I told her to close the door. I'm afraid of dogs! But she didn't and the dog slipped in. To my surprise there was another dog in the house too. I'm screaming to tell someone/anyone to get them out. The biggest dog (who happened to be pregnant) started raising her leg as if she had to "go". So I picked her up and took her outside. After she used it, she began to cry out. I knew she was getting ready to have the puppy. She did and I was the one to delivered it! I gave the non breathing puppy to my mom and she blew short breaths into the puppy's mouth and he started breathing. I just stood there looking at my dirty hands very emotional that I was apart of the experience. I woke up still emotional and looking at my hands.................(UH......ok!)

My 2 dogs rub their butts on the floor after they come in from outside. When I say sit, they sit but start pulling themselfs around.
Why do they do that?

She bites and literally starts to pull at her skin in addition to licking herself .This started when I had to brush her hair every day to keep knots from forming in her thick hair. We also have aded a new male kitten (she's F-8yrs old) who is more playfull than she wants.

interaction, I have 2 other dogs also rescues, she doesn`,t know how to play, there are lots of toys here, will she learn from the others? She watches them & sees them get praised for retrieving etc, She`s smart has already learned sit & down & comes when called. Is there any way I can teach her to Play? Most of the time she is acting like velcro with me. They all get along quite well.

I keep the filters clean and clean the aquarium regularly. The water also smells. The fish seem healthy in a 20 gal aquarium with 8 fish.

My son has a cat he got from a friend, a female around 3 years old. She was in a house with 3 other cats and asume she is missing them. The crying is driving my son up the wall and he cant sleep as she does it at night as well. Anyone with any ideas how he can stop her crying???
