its not corny, she was a pet!! i know its sad, i have lost fish of my own. its ok!! no fish will replace your faveorite, but you can get a new one to keep you company and remind you of your old one. dont be sad to remember your fish too, because if you loved it, than it will help to get over it by remembering the happy things.

hope that helps!!!

The problem is a figment of your imaginaion. This usually happens when you lose a loved one. Even if the replacement is identical twin of the lost one you will always find somedthing(real or imagined) missing. That is all right if the object missing is a human being or an animal pet. But the fish are all minted from the same mould and (as they say) they cannot definitedly say whethere they are themselves or not. So please disabuse your mind about this misapprehension. After some days you would also find that you did not robbed of any company of the beloved one.

It will just take time to get over it. I had a Canary and it died over 7 years ago. I really loved him and I still haven't got another one
because I don't feel that it will be as good as he was. You'll know when the time is right to get another one.------- Think of all the enjoyment that she gave you when you looked at her. Think of this she crossed the rainbow bridge like all deceased pets and is now in a beautiful land and swimming happilly.------ All dogs go to heaven and so do fish.------God Bless
